Cavs at Warriors | Kenny Atkinson Post Game | 12.30.2024
Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Kenny Atkinson spoke with the media following a 113-95 win over the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on December 30, 2024.
Donovan turned it up in the 3rd. Team synergy as well. Dean Wade breast mode. You see that DG steal? Cavs in LA tomorrow on a back-to-back vs LeBron and AD. Should be fun.
I attended my first Cavs game at the Cleveland Arena in 1970 when they played the Cincinnati Royals with Oscar Robertson. No matter how bad they were, Joe Tait would tell me over the radio, its basketball time, and for decades, they have been my favorite team. I worked at the taverne of Richfield loge level 2, during the Hot Rod/Price/Dougherty/Wilkens days, through college. Years later, whole working my normal shift, I say good morning to Jim Paxson (shout out to Nick the Quick) and wish him luck in the LeBron lottery. SWISH!!! No matter what, thank you LeBron for bringing MY team a championship. Fast forward a decade later, the basketball world is witnessing one of the best regular season teams of all time. Of course, Kenny A. is the maestro, but Koby A. has brought in quality individuals that are coachable and talented. Above all, WE have a very special angel looking over OUR team. Linda M., rest in peace. I witnessed for over 20 years this lady work tirelessly to find new players their Cleveland area home. The tribute for her at the Q was awesome! Now lets go to Los Angeles and close out 2024 with a banger!
