This Dallas Mavericks team is The Deepest I ever seen. Even in a loss I'm impressed.
The mavs can easily go on an extended losing streak until luka returns. They need someone in the front court other than pj that can score badly maxi is completely worthless
The free fall down the ladder is now in motion for the mavs. Even when they get healthy again, how long will it take for them to get in good form again.
Luka has missed his share of games as well its not just lively
All the magic and hope for a great season is gone with that injury. The Naji suspension was salt on the would and a critical unforced error by him that's going to set this team back into a play-in. They're now losing games they should and would have won otherwise. No title this year….maybe next year IF Luka decides to give summer basketball up for once and spend his summer in the damn gym.

What happened to the bench scoring… Klay needs to step up in Luka’s absence
I did not think the game would be this close with Doncic, Irving , Klay, Lively, and Marshall out. Mavs end of roster players just could not step up and score
I have a bit of a hot take, not sure if anyone else has mentioned this and it's sort of but not really unrelated to the current topics but, I think we should limit Luka's minutes to around 20-25 minutes when he comes back till post season (or if things go south) since this team obviously holds really well even without the superstars. Want to make sure we don't ruin his body and he's with us for a long long time injury free.
This limited roster giving a fight to Fox, DeRozan and Sabonis, very impressive.

No one in the history of the game can set his teammates up for a play or a shot like Luka can and has. No one. He is already considered one of the best scorers. Now, put both of these together and you get the greatest offensive player the game has witnessed but bc he is white so many bias/ racist are unwilling to accept the fact this may be a very true statement. We will one day look back and behold how fixed the league/media was against Luka yet he still thrived. I feel bad for kyrie not getting the calls he deserves either. If your mad i brought race into it, just rmbr the media (shaq, Barkley stephen a perkins and many more do it every day and it's sickening they aren't called out.
It's cute watching people point the finger at Gafford….. We know exactly what type of player Gafford is and shouldn't be the scape goat for a piss poor lineup! Maxi, GONE! Hardy, GONE! O-MAX, GONE! Larry nance is also the guy who can bac up the 4 and play the small 5 next to PJ and won’t cost you as much as most of the popular pics…… But hear me out for a second bro. Give me your genuine thoughts on my idea because NO ONE is mentioning it…. If you’re gonna take a big swing to get a player like Nas Reid or her jones like many people want, then my choice is in New Orleans and it’s a NOT herb and damn sure ain’t Zion…. why not get Brandon Ingram? Unlike Nas, BI’ value is thru the basement. Also unlike Nas and herb who are BELOVED by their franchises , the Pels don’t want BI and the rest of the league and media treat him like he has the plague. Larry Nance is the perfect maxi replacement and upgrade for a bargain. And even tho BI may require a bit more than LNJ, im almost certain he’d be less than many of the other popular options like Cam, Doe, and Herb . Larry Nance is the most plausible option but if we can give up no more than a combination of hardy, maxi, exum, maybe omax and pics to get BI, basically keep the core of this roster in tact, then I’m all for it. That would move PJ to bench, start BI and literally form a dynasty. They’d be able to play a 5 out offense that can rival Boston and match them on defense. BI can get his own shot, make the right pass, shoot the 3, play from the 5-wing and there’d be lineups where you can play BI alongside PJ, AND Naji. BI is the only big swing I want and can set us up until Kai or klay retires if it all works perfectly. And he’s similar to klay where he’s a low maintenance star. He’s a player with low value who would be a perineal all star in a different situation. Having him start over PJ gives us a player who at his best gives us KD capabilities to go along side LuKai and Klay, and even at his very worst he’s PJ 2.5….. I would be UBER excited if we got Larry Nance to bolster the bench and bacup pj, BUT IF WE WERE ABLE TO GET BI(without losing key pieces)…. THERE IS NO TEAM IN THE WEST THAT CAN BEAT US in a 7 game series and my money would be on Mavs-Celtics finals for the next couple years. The mavs would be the team to beat in the west for the next 5-7 years at least and just imagine all the talent that would finally want to come to Dallas…
Our starting lineup was basically out, yet we had a decent chance. Unfortunately, We have an extremely difficult stretch of games coming up and if everyone is still hurt, it could put us in a bad position considering how tight the West is right now. We need to somehow find a way to win 8-10 of these next 16 or so games.
Kidd's coaching is just unacceptable at this point. At best, he's mid, but I legit think he's one of the 10 worst active coaches.
