  1. Me being a Russ guy I was mad he went back to the clippers after he had a decent run even before that when he 1st left the Lakers after the made him the scape goat it was reported the heat and clippers showed interest in him I wanted him to go threw the heat long story short he went to the clippers showed he can still play they traded for harden put him in the bench then they traded him to the nuggets I fill like he not what he use to be but he definitely shouldn't be coming off the bench I fill like in a starter roll playing 32-34 min a game, he can get u 16-18 ppg, 8 rebs 8assts easily, and it's a travesty the Lakers put the whole meal on him that cost him at least 15+ triple doubles

  2. The difference is the teammates are running the breaks with Russ. So many situations, teams try to play halfcourt game on both ends. Russ can do both, but his mentality is to be on the move. Braun and Watson ready for it.
Remember at DC? Beal finally got well, Russ had been carrying the team. Beal still rehabbing deferred to Russ to set the tempo. They ripped 12+ straight wins, going from the basement to playoff contender.
Harden and Bron are halfcourt guys mostly.
Them holding back meant Russ was playing off speed, holding himself back.
Jokic's leadership is he can do both, and his teammates know they don't have to wait, just attack.
Problem is adjusting on defense after the score. Still gotta get back, not celebrate unless there's a whistle.

  3. Keep shining Russ!! You one of my favourite players to watch and have been the last 12+ years, salute 🫡

  4. He could still give you 40 minutes a night, but he’s picking his spots and making the most of his opportunities. Still has the speed, strength and the IQ is HOF

  5. Coach really matters. Other coaches did not know how to harness and capitalize on Russ talent.

The success of a team and individual lies with the coach. Coaches control all the levers that determine success of team and individual.

Coaches analyze player talent, set the players role based on their analysis, control player improvement program, determine bench and starting roster, defensive and offensive game plan, timeouts, ATO plays, determine minutes played, substitutions, in game adjustments, halftime adjustments, challenges, they select coaching staff, they control morale of the team/individual. There’s much more

  6. his 4th steal on his way for the fast break slam and its all smiles from the Brodie, have yourself a night!

  7. Makes me happy to see Westbrook play like this again
Yeah his athleticism has lost a lot but hey, I’m happy that he’s able to like gel with this team because his stints with the Lakers and the Clippers certainly weren’t really fun for him

  8. Been saying it for years, ever since the OKC days. When he plays unselfish he's one of the best at PG. He just doesn't play like that very often.

  9. It’s so refreshing to see all the comments supporting Russ. I mean cmon man how can you ACTUALLY not like this guy…. Sure he’s had some rough seasons around but he’s not DONE! Can’t wait to him win that much needed ring one day, feeling like soon!

  10. This is a vet min guy…denver is very lucky to have him otherwise they would be utter shit right now
