Definitely need to improve their defense that leads to fast break points or easier shots.
No panic it’s basketball but it’s a few losses they will hopefully learn from this experience. I don’t think Indiana is a bad team. Or they just play the Celtics well. The piece matches the Celtics paste and it ends up becoming a track meet the Celtics need to figure out how to control the game when they play the Pacers but they also need a big man to step up inside hopefully to QUETA. But he is not good. When they switch he needs to play drop or zone. They were trying a zone the first game but Joe hasn’t been playing him much. I think he is still sold on Luke. But NEEMY definitely has some things to work on in all defensive coverages. Also, I don’t like what he said about Walsh after the game like he’s only in because someone’s hurt I know it’s true, but that kid has really improved for someone who moved like a baby giraffe a year ago to someone who could actually contribute in a year or two if he continues to get the reps. We aren’t going to have these guys for the duration of their contracts. I don’t think I could be wrong, but these cheaper guys will need to step up eventually maybe that’s Joey’s way of motivating him but he’s been trying even if he’s not the best out there at least he’s trying compared to some guys who are just getting blown by. I know it’s an 82 game season plus playoffs and Olympics so it’s fine to have off games.. but I thou
I thought Walsh deserved some praise from joe
This year reminds me of 2021-2022 season with the inconsistency. I hope the Celtics shift the energy soon and win a string of games. I miss the Celtics going on winning streaks.
Terrible shooting. The Cavs are the best team in the east at this moment. They’re shooting it well from the floor. They don’t jack up over 50 3s per game etc. Knicks are also playing better than the Celtics. Celtics need to start looking at themselves in the mirror and start showing some hustle.

Yee there’s a ton of pressure even now bc we’re expected to win every game v teams that get up to play against us.
I think that’s why joe spoke abt the idea of humility a lot last yr. We can’t buy in to those expectations bc we do get tight.
Sort of perversely, I think higher stakes will help ease our collective nerves this yr
