I totally disagree with Eric Vincent, you absolutely don't have to go out and acquire role players especially at the cost of future assets. The goal has to be to build a team capable of getting to the finals and the Pistons aren't a role player away from that imo. Their "window" is not anywhere close to closing, you have Cade locked up and you'll have the advantage extending him in the future. Sneaking into the playoffs once or twice and then being forced to rebuild is the wrong way to go. Everything the org is doing now needs to be focused on getting them to the championship level.
