  1. Genuinely coming around to not trading for a Center, the market is looking dead.

Around JHS salary most players are on their Rookie deals. If we add in Gabe we’ll need to add draft compensation then we can get someone pretty average that doesn’t actually help how we need them to.
We might actually be better off with Hayes and Wood or waiting for buyout targets.

  2. I hope Trevor’s new years resolution is to stop saying ‘some regression is probably coming’ like 7 times per podcast

  3. The huge difference from last year: the numbers that back up how well these lineups are working is not an accident. JJ is looking at the deeper analytics for each unit and adjusting accordingly. Not just coaching on vibes like honey roasted Ham.

  4. Trade idea.
    LA
    D. Murray / Valanciunas / A.Gil (via min.)
    NO
Rui / Vando / 3 unprotected 1sts (pay an extra 1st to eat vando contract, they just got him for 2 1sts)
    Washington
    Gabe / Milton (2 2nds from LA) 1 2nd swap from NO

  5. 💡 Do JJ Reddick start Gabe and have Austin run the second unit with Rui so that there’s consistent play making ability? How will AR react to that move? Does JJ keep the fan favorite AR in the starting lineup and gamble on the shot creating ability of Shake & Knecht for the 2nd unit?

    AR Max RUI Bron AD

    Gabe Shake Knecht DFS Hayes/Wood

    Bronny Reddish Vando

  6. I don't think they need more time. What is going to happen that would out-prioritize the need for a backup big bruiser, then a playmaker defensive guard?
Wood Hayes nor Vando dont impact these two primary needs in any way. I dont think a few weeks would help increase their value either. Also seems, that by now, the closer it comes to deadline, the price may actually increase, as there would be less available and the need becomes more immediate.

  7. Trev pointed out that Rui is better at shot creation than DFS. Does brings up the point of maximizing skill/strengths to the needs of the team. Playmaking and shot creation is really needed off the bench. The two unquestionable playmakers this season are LeBron and Austin. DLo was the third this season. He is gone now. NO ONE else is a real playmaker. Gabe isn't. So the bench doesn't just need shooters, they need someone who can create, as most of the time Bron and AR are playing together. The need probably outweighs any POTENTIAL egos being busted regarding who starts, closes and gets most minutes.

  8. Thanks for the forecast! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

  9. I’d make another small move like Jose Alvarado , high energy , dog mentality in ball D. Gives LA leverage to move Gab too

  10. The moves that will make us favorites is to get Cam Johnson and Walker Kessler, I’m not giving up on getting cam, let’s see what the market for him looks like and if a team will offer 2 1st for him, if it softens I’m getting in that race and offering rui, max, frp for him, that’s essentially two first there getting and a high upside player in max that could be a legit player for them in 2-3 years and then offer are other assets for Walker give up the other FRP,JHS, and pick swap to see if that does it for Utah if those deals close we would be legit imagine AR,Cam,DFS,Bron,AD that’s a defensive juggernaut with quality shooting and a solid bench of Gabe,DK,Vando,Wood,Kessler that’s a championship squad

  11. They should call up Quincy Olivari to be the backup PG – he can handle the ball, 3 level scorer, a solid catch and shoot player.

Still need to make a trade a center. If they cant get Walker Kessler, I think Mark Williams or Nick Richards on the Hornets both look really good. Maybe the Lakers send Jaxson Hayes and JHS for one of those guys.

  12. I'm definitely excited to see if the Lakers will run Horns play with Reaves, Knecht, Finney-Smith, James, and Davis on the court. Happy to know that the Lakers can have two high level corner spot-up shooters off the bench; while still having AD and LBJ. Hopefully the coaching staff can utilize the players well.

  13. Y’all lakers fans lookin at Rui as untouchable?? Y’all don’t wanna win fr 😂
