As a sixers fan in hindsight this is a B+ think of what it led to, trade to clippers, which freed up the cap space to create the team they have now
I mean making it to the ecf and to hold the celtics to game 7 is pretty good for the sixers. I think they deserve a slightly higher grade maybe like a b- for the time he was there

Didn’t think it would be disastrous for both sixers and nets. But anything can happen in basketball
None of y’all watch Ben play and it kills me. Yeah he’s not the all nba player he used to be but he’s not scoring 1 point a game on a lucky goaltend. He’s a legitimate good role player averaging triple six with good efficiency
Don’t wish that upon any team to have a player like Ben on there team🤷🏽♂️
Should give the Sixers an A still. They got good value for Harden trading him to the Clippers.
The Sixers got two FRP and a swap for Harden. That ain’t a C+. Plus the flexibility to sign PG.
I still think about how I used to like Simmons back in 2018
as a sixers 10/10 i would still make that trade, harden won us that game 1 and while he choked at the end he was still great most of that playoff run. the butterfly effect from this trade essentially lead us to having paul george rn who’s not doing amazing but id still rather have him than simmons.
I know this might not change much, but consider revisiting this in a few years depending on what that pick turns into

not tryna be biased but i think philly should get a B cause they flipped harden for decent assets and that 2nd harden trade almost directly lead to PG13 cause that opened cap space for philly

Harden was the reason the sixers even went to game 7 against the celtics that year tho. He was dropping 40 against the clear title favorites
