  1. He's finally having his big break out 🙌 he's always been such a great glue guy and such a high IQ player with the ability to create his own shot, but these past few games have been on another tier entirely.

Trading away Dlo to give Austin more PG/playmaking responsibilities is gonna blow his game wide open. Sky is the limit for him, he is surgically picking teams apart like it's nothing.

With the Cav's size and athleticism on defense I was pretty surprised to see how easy and methodically he got to his spots whenever he wanted. He's faster than he was last year too (though he's always had an insanely quick first step).

He's taken a big step up defensively, he's a monster for a guard on the boards, he drives and kicks dimes like Bron, and his body control and awareness on the court (as always) is truly elite.

Austin Reaves is my favorite Laker and I've been given sh*t for saying that in the past, but he's gonna make all-NBA this year and be the true 3rd option we've been lacking for so long.

Love and believe in the kid so much, keep proving em wrong AR 💜💛

  2. When the Lakers front office picked up Dalton Knecht it lit a fire under Austin Reaves. He's shouldered a lot of responsibility this season and came through.

  3. Austin Reaves will be the face of the lakers in a couple of years. Mark my words.

  4. Our transition and perimeter defense needs to be better if we want to compete with the top tier teams like Cavs and Thunder (Cant believe i just said that, but those two teams are definjite contenders along with Boston.)

  5. He had a triple double recently and nearly another one here against a top team cavs and with all star stat sheet, that's impressive.
His first step seems to have improved this year too ? I see him driving by defenders more often than before, his winning lay up against Wiggins was a good example

  6. Trading DLO was the stupidest thing the Lakers could have ever done. I’m happy for DLO because he’s gonna thrive and for sure be the new franchise player for the Nets. Only real OGs with pure basketball minds know that losing DLO fills a massive hole in this Lakers team …. Gonna be miss you DLO thank you for everything ❤️😞
