Minnesota Timberwolves stumble against Thunder ball pressure as SGA lifts OKC
The Minnesota Timberwolves built a double-digit lead against the best-in-the-West Oklahoma City Thunder, but the home team’s ball pressure, athleticism, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander were too much for the Wolves as OKC came away with the win. Ben Beecken (@bbeecken) breaks down how the Wolves built their lead and how they lost it, as well as thoughts on SGA’s 40-point performance and how the Wolves could make some adjustments moving forward.

They never had a chance …no chance of beating a far superior a much much better coached team
Yeah they should really really look at those three possessions in the 4th quarter
Now talk about that head to head in the third quarter. It was the 19 points that embarrassed Ant, not two fouls on Naz Reid.
Yea sga is better than ant no doubt but ant just looks like a shell of himself from last szn
Yall need to stop complaining how SGA Manipulate plays that’s what great players do Ant should be doing similar things
Randle's help D is i think never going to get there for this team's switchy defense. The team is trying to go faster but he needs to know where hes going before he can go quick.
Shhhh… yall need to be quiet about free throws. OKC is the #1 team in drives in the league, and dead last in free throws attempts. So to think that OKC gets any type of favorable whistle is insane. SGA has games where he gets 11 FTs, and games where he gets 2. Ant should’ve probably attacked more and quit shooting 3s if yall want him to get to the line more. You can complain if Shai had 15 free throws and 25 points, but he went 7/9 from the line and put 40 on the wolves. He was NASTY last night, and that 3rd quarter may have been the best I’ve seen OKC ever play. Great game.
Calling Shai a flopper is odd. All the stats say that he gets less calls than other players who score as much as he does.
Let me resume for yall so you dont have to Watch that bullshit :
Refs, SGA, tears, SGA, cast, refs, tears, SGA destroyed us but no I swear he is bad and he flops trust me !!!
Dont think you will find anytjing related to Minnesota or Ant performance nothing to see here !
