Bro, as a lifelong 35 year Cleveland fan of all sports, in AD's defense..
I played soccer for 20+ years. For the first 15-17 years, i always had different cleats that looked good. But, the last couple years, it got to the point where comfort was more important than the looks.
I wore cleats every day for hours at a time for practices, to pictures, to training on my own. You tie them and wear them so that they're tight on your feet, just like basketball shoes. After years n years of wearing tight shoes for hours n hours basically every day, your feet start to form differently than they would if you wore regular shoes that weren't so tight and your feet had room to grow.
Soo, eventually after so long, you're not gunna care as much about the way the look and start caring more about the comfort they provide you.
Yeahh, there are shoes that are both comfortable and look good, but once you find a pair that are the most comfortable to you, you're gunna be wearing them, lol. I wouldn't be surprised if AD wore a different pair of them same kind of shoes a lot throughout the season.
