  1. Cavs are currently 17-1 at home

They have that higher gear when playing at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse

Securing the 1st seed will be crucial to how far they could go in the postseason.

  2. I don’t think Mitchell has even shot 27 times once this year so that’s not even going to be a situation. We have to even deal with once in a seven game series Donovan Mitchell is taking 15 to 20 shots max and he’s only shooting 20 if he’s on because our record shows that when he’s offevery other guy is picking up the slab with no problem as we’re crushing every team

  3. We won in2016 and they still treat us like the pistons. Screw the media. Keep winning stay healthy and shut all those talking heads up

  4. I’ve kept saying Cavs is an underrated sleeper team with the potential to upset Boston fk around and even end up in the finals this season. What’s even more frightening is that this is a young team that can improve and become even better.

  5. So great to see the Cavs winning! Got to give respect to all the talent on the team. Great teamwork and energy.

  6. The same duo said that the Celtics would end way ahead of the Cavs in the regular season, a few weeks ago.

  7. Last year was Celtics and this year is Cavs. Honestly, There’s no magic, the team that shows more discipline, desperate, and prepare for winning; they are the one who is going to be consistently in winning. We love WIN! Go Cavs! 🎉

  8. My shootout is to Jamal Murray. He had a truly rough start to the season that everyone was not shy to mention. This December, he has really picked up his game to his normal self and I think that goes a long way, fighting through a long shooting slump

  9. This team that is now from player one to the last man on the bench are able bodied efficient players in the Association. Any of our players would be regulars on other teams, CP Jr. Tristan. Niang. LeVert Jerome. Merrill. Even JT Thor is a great third team Center I mean this team is stacked top to bottom. There is no need to mess with this. One player can't play for some reason there is aplenty of capable replacements to step up. A third stringer can step up at any time and this team has that. I nearly won on a parlay bet I created on Fanduel where every Cavs player that played that game, it was a few weeks back, scored at least one point. On that game only one player did not score a point/bucket/free throw. I had that bet on another game at a much lower winning odds and everyone did score including Tristan Thompson making one free throw.. I have often wished they would add CJ McCollum and that would be cool although it is not needed after watching that game last night. 2024-2032 Cavalier run in going to be Incredible.

  10. I think the Cavs are taking a page out of the 2014 Spurs and 2015 and 16 Warriors playbooks where they play very hard on both ends with a purpose and share the ball. It leads to fewer minutes on the star players. But they play more games. Cavs aren’t having to do too much load management.

  11. The biggest difference with the Cavs under Kenny vs JB is that the two guards have found a symbiosis. Under JB it felt a lot like your turn my turn and it would lead to really only one of them playing well in a game. Now both guards consistently play well in the same game. It’s elevated their ceiling as a team.

  12. Mitchell isn’t good enough to be the best player on a team only 4 players in the east are good enough and have something special in them. Giannis,Embiid,Tatum,Trae

  13. Regarding the question of clutch playoff moments yes the Cavs still go to Mitchell most often, but Garland is only a hair behind him for clutch scoring volume this year while posting a 78 eFG% and some healthy assist numbers. Maybe things tighten up come playoff time but the Cavs at least have plenty of reason to believe they have two initiators capable of taking over in the clutch.

  14. I’ll buy the Cavs as legit sure but still behind Celtics in East and okc in west. I need to see them beat contending teams with a full bill of health and not while they are slumping to put them higher. Haven’t beat any of the top 3 west, haven’t even played them. Beat Knicks sixers bucks early season when all 3 looked like play in teams and haven’t beaten any of the top teams full strength since.. can’t control who suits up so I hate holding it against them…. But I guess I am. Let’s see how they do the second half.

  15. How hard can it be for Tim and Adam so stop dancing around and just say " Mazulla is doing a poor job and needs to improve and take control of the team " . Not a Celtics hater or Mazulla hater just a regular fan – and but for injuries – there should be a repeat but not without good coaching. Being Canadian I like hearing Neberhard praised. I had really hoped the Raptors would have gotten him as part of the Siakim trade

  16. Very happy for Atkinson – he should not have had to wait so long for another HC position. Marks, Durant, and Irving were morons . Nash was actually a descent coach but Atkinson should have been retained as he had earned it

  17. ESPN coverage of the Cavs is a joke. Just like Winhorst, he can't give them a compliment. He is a hypocrite. Thank God there are some real professionals sports casters out there not hacks like WINNIE. IF YOU ARE NOT A BIG MARKET TEAM HE WILL NOT GIVE YOUR TEAM THE TIME OF DAY. CAN'T WE GET SOME INDEPENTANT WRITERS WITH OUT YOUR HEAD UP THE ASS OF THE CEO OF ESPN . THE CAVS HAVE THEIR OWN SPLASH BROTHERS WINHORST. YOU WOULDN'T KNOW IT IF YOU LISTEN TO THIS BLOW HEART!!! What does it take to notice the Cavs ESPN.

  18. @moz'nef

"cavs dont have 1 player that has a well rounded impact on the game"

First off… yes they do. Its Donovan Mitchell. And even if you dont believe this, then you cant deny that they play team basketball. Team basketball is better than one player dominating the game.
