It's really hard for me to believe that the Thunder will trade for Cam Johnson. (Unless you have a source I dont know about) because the Thunder never trade for a player I want them too or that I think would fit this team perfectly. I've been wanting this trade since the beginning of last year and throughout the Thunders history they've never did what I wanted. This is the best proof and statistically the most accurate statement their is as I've been disappointed 100% of the time.
You do not trade two first round picks for Cam Johnson when one of them has the potential to be a lottery on a pick swap.

Defense and rebounding should always be top priority building around SGA. And 4 rebounds as a starting power forward is not good. Look around the league at starting power forwards. And Wiggins is already a capable scorer. Just needs more opportunities. Just let this team develop chemistry together. And they could be a dynasty.

Ousmane Dieng is the only player the Thunder should consider trading. Haywood Highsmith, Jaime Jacquez and Noah Clowney are more realistic options than Cam Johnson

Gimme SGA, Dort, Jalen, Chet & I-Hart over any starting 5 that includes Cam. We do not need to fix what isn't broken. We've now won 11 in a row, 4 games ahead of #2 in the West yet Chet + I-Hart haven't played one game together. . We need to stick this season out with what we've got rather than take on Cam's contract. Now, if OKC loses in the 2nd round or worse this year, I think that would be the time to make a move similar to this. But If OKC goes to the WCF or better, run it back again for 2026. Man, I really hope that OKC does not do this. This is a mistake.
Wiggins has a net rating of 13.4 (which is #6) with the #3 defensive rating. Joe is 13.1 (which is #8) with the #5 defensive rating. This speaks to the system. The system works because of all of the players in it. Getting rid of these guys for a guy who costs way more individually AND picks is like robbery to me.
Everyone saying we don’t need cam blows my mind like do you think the thunder are automatically going to win a chip cause we are on a hot streak and have been all season ? All regular season ? The playoffs are different. Not saying this squad can’t win but wouldn’t you rather make it a little more likely that we would be able to actually compete and win a chip. Joe is not playing well currently. Even Jdub is struggling from 3. We need a true 3 point shooter. Everyone gets too attached to the current squad. It’s a business at the end of the day and getting cam would be a business move.
