The Kings Have Hit ROCK BOTTOM

The Kings Have Hit ROCK BOTTOM

The Sacramento Kings just fired their head coach Mike Brown, De’Aaron Fox is in trade rumors, and they just lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Detroit Pistons with Jaden Ivey converting a four point play to push Sacramento to 13-18 on the season. It’s been an utter disaster and this may just be the start of the downfall of the Sacramento Kings who only just got back to relevance and seem to already be sinking right back to the bottom of the NBA. Let’s talk about it.

  1. The owner of the kings sucks ass. He reminds me of a slum lord if he was your landlord. Dosent care about the development of the team just there for the money.

  2. I know there are a lot of questions about what direction to go but,
here is a deal that can help both franchise:

•2024-2025 Monk/Fox and Sabonis get traded to the Lakers for the rest of the season
•2025-2026 Bron, Ad,Sabonis and Monk/Fox gets traded to the Kings
•2026-2027 Ad goes back to the Lakers.

    Yrw😎

  3. The kings should have looked at the Knicks. Thibs came in just like brown and took a team that had been awful for years to the playoffs, and won coach of the year. The next season the Knicks weren’t even a play in team. But they didn’t scapegoat thibs, they recognized the problem was the roster, they went out and got Jalen Brunson. If you want to stop being a losing team you’ve got to stop acting like a losing organization

  4. As a Kings fan….. just another day round the sun with this dumpster fire of an organization 🤷😂

  5. It cost nothing to be a good human being, the way that they let this man go is disgraceful. The GM and owner have no class

  6. Mike coached Lebron, Kobe, Steph, KD…… fox just does not have that winning dog gene

  7. You don’t add an aging veteran who cannot shoot from outside to a team who is already led by 2 guys that need the ball and don’t shoot very much from outside. Only casual thinks his is nba 2k and Derozan puts them over the top. He does the exact opposite. He hinders the development of young guys and wrecks their spacing

  8. they treated coach Rick Adelman like shit towards the end and that's the coach that had the most success in sacramento kings history. 8 seasons, 8 playoffs, and we all know it the 2002 title. they're a mess of franchise and they've been doing since 1985 minus those 8 seasons. they got ahead of themselves with that light the beam talk. heck they haven't even retired Mike Bibby's number yet have Peja, Webber, and freaking Divac of all people to be up there while Bibby did more for the Kings in the playoffs. how do you fire someone by phone? disgusting.

  9. This roster is deep and has all star and all nba talent. There net rating and offensive/defensive ratings are good. Their problem is just spacing

  10. The NBA is so funny. If only it were as easy to get rid of an under-performing front office as it is to get rid of a coach that probably wasn't even the issue.

  11. As a lifelong kings fan, it’s embarrassing this happened AGAIN. Worst move they could have made. Sorry to say it but Vivek doesn’t know ball like that

  12. This is me speaking as a kings fan. I don’t think they are gonna trade Fox and I don’t think he’ll want out. I think a new coach will entice him to stay and see what happens. However, if no roster moves are made by the end of the season I believe even tho it’s a different coach he’ll want out

  13. It most likely that Fox won’t be on the Kings next season. Though I have to wait and see how this season ends. Whether Sacramento makes some trades and a late playoff push will determine if he stays or not.

  14. One of the things that make the Spurs what they are is that they dont cycle through head coaches every season. They keep Pop and let him establish and develop the team culture. Even if he doesnt win a chip, they still dont fire him.

Teams need to commit to head coaches more. Find a guy of proven metal and let him cook.

The phenomenon of coaches win CotY and then being fired the next season is absurd

You have to allow thing time to build up and grow

  15. Monte McNair fucked up by drafting an injured guard and not improving our bench or adding length and size. He then nailed the coffin with the derozan signing. Pathetic. Mike brown is just a scapegoat

  16. The team got worse by acquiring DeFrozen who plays no defense and chokes in the 4th Quarter. The Coach Killer Dumbass Fox is an ISO player and has no team game forced ownership to trade him or fire the coach. Ownership and Management hands are TIED when a star player hasn't signed an extension. lol

  17. Fox saying he wants to be a King but wants to win…why don’t you actually be a leader, my guy? Kings don’t have any clear leader to get folks in gear, call players out, light a fire under the teams ass to make something happen. I love Sabonis, Fox, Monk, but nobody has stepped up to be THE GUY on the floor

  18. They should actually fire the FO instead of Mike Brown. He has a very imperfect squad to work with. Being coach of the year, modernizing the franchise and having an extremely pleasing to watch form of basketball with the team is something that is he is directly responsible for.
Getting rid of him is going to do very little. The players are simply playing a lot worse, even Fox. They have their strengths, but for playing this brand of basketball that they played before, they need some more threepoint shooters and smart playmakers.

  19. firing mike brown was just stupid (lead them 2 the playoffs after 16yrs). and all you media guys are either 2 high or 2 low and most GMs too. when things go bad, yeah make some drastic changes🤔. like when y`all said the Cs needed 2 break up jalen & jayson – and after 7 yrs they won a chip 2gether. good players and coaches figure things out – demare`s been here 4 25 games… chill out.

  20. My team has gone through so many head coaches in the last decade. Seeing the kings go through a similar issue as mine is just sad. There is some blame on coaching, but it's unfortunate that when front offices make stupid moves that a coach being fired is really a smoke screen. I don't really watch the kings, but they needed just better roster management. The team is like all offense and nothing else. No coach is perfect but when you have a team that can't hunker down on defense then your team just isn't good enough to go deep.
