SGA is starting to knock on the door of Wade and moving into becoming an ALL Time Great PG-SG. I'm obviously not going to put him with Kobe and MJ yet, but this guy is aVERY special. Yes, he was the MVP last year and so far is this year.

This is why the NBA is losing viewership. They literally tell you straight up they’re going to give it to joker when all he’s done is lose this year. I live in Denver and it’s my second favorite team next to okc but joker doesn’t deserve it this year. Shai does, his team is winning and continues to hold most teams under 86 points a game.

SGA is a great player, and he helps his team a lot… but if MVP is all about stats, Jokic once again has nearly twice the rebounds and assists as SGA, and he's shooting 50% from 3 while SGA is shooting 35%. And he's only 0.6 PPG behind SGA. Yes, SGA is far more athletic and is far more fun to watch, but you can't just say SGA is the "clear" MVP.
Still… Jokic really DGaF about MVP and probably actively doesn't want another MVP, so I'm all for SGA getting it if he keeps up his numbers.
The argument against Joker winning his 4th MVP are based on emotions! The facts are Joker is by far the best player in the league for the last 4 years! He is going to be the best player in the league until Vic W catches up!
Come on man you don’t need to exaggerate to give Jokic his flowers. Nuggets are the Wizards without Jokic?!? Jamaal Murray? Michael Porter Jr? Aaron Gordon? Russell Westbrook? Ya’ll are insane if you think they’re the Wizards. This narrative that Jokic had nobody to play with is getting ridiculous. Murray is an all star level player, Porter Jr is an all star level player, Aaron Gordon is an all star level player, and Westbrook is a former MVP. He may not be that guy anymore for 40 minutes a night but he can be for 15 to 20 minutes a night. This team has a ton of experience in general but also has multiple championship experience on the roster and that is invaluable. The Nuggets are a very talented team and are a much more experienced team than the Thunder. Please stop with this nonsense

As a nuggets fan Jokic doesn’t care about a regular season mvp anymore. I actually respect SGA because I don’t think he cares much either. They both foster winning cultures and that’s what matters. The embiid mvp was a joke as fostering a winning culture is overlooked but the opposite is shoved down our throat by obsolete ESPN. Best of luck to both players as their play and character are on another level.
