DeMar DeRozan says lack of Kings success, coaching change won’t change choice to join Sacramento
Following Tuesday’s New Year’s Eve practice, DeMar DeRozan talks about the feeling of snapping a six-game losing streak the night before with a 110-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks, Doug Christie settling in as interim head coach and how the Kings lack of success coupled with a midseason head coaching change hasn’t changed his feelings about coming to Sacramento this past summer.

💯
I believe DeMar DeRozan is an excellent player, but he is a horrific fit for the Sacramento Kings. The Kings should have kept Harrison Barnes. DeRozan should have stayed with the Chicago Bulls or joined the Los Angeles Lakers.
Demar is a solid dude and a baller frfr and I respect his mind frame
Damar is t a good fit in sac
This was a very solid interview well spoken and straight to point! No B.S Good stuff I hope he can have a soild run here in Sacramento👍💯✌️
The Kings aren't going anywhere with him.
Just 90 miles away is a better franchise and a much better superstar to play with.
Best of luck to the kings. It still was no reason to fire coach brown.
What a mature, thoughtful, and professional interview.
This should be,1st ballot HOF member!!!
Shout-out to Demar. I think he sure had came too Lakers his hometown L.A. . much respect for em.
I know they wish they could take that back. I know that owner is totally regretting that stupid decision. There was zero reason of fire coach Brown that could’ve been a conversation in the office or he should’ve gave that some time before he made such a rash decision.
Tbh. Coaching changes are part of the job. These guys get paid a buttload of money, and ups and downs come with the territory. Mike brown will cry all the way to the bank, he’s getting paid for the next few years
Bulls let him go for virtually nothing. Shame, Shame.
So professional and thoughtful!
