little sing song from Donovan kingan on the plane what what did you think about that I think it was uh very warm and charming and I feel like uh you know the Rook you know he this part of his uh duties to sing Happy Birthday but I I added the microphone uh the microphone part so it was cool well we did shout out you last night on the broadcast that it was your birthday already in Israel yes and I met a bunch of people that came just to watch you from Israel I don’t know if fans truly understand how passionate your fans are of you can you try to explain this to us I can explain I mean I love them I love their passion and how how they support me and um honestly I’m grateful I’m grateful they have that fan base they uh they’re with me since I got drafted and even before and I feel like I just see the love everywhere I go and it it also makes me feel and play better so guys please don’t stop supporting I love youall do you have maybe like a story you can think of where a fan went above and beyond to show how much they support you I don’t have a crazy story um but I see the effort that people are doing to fly all over the world you know even with the situation in Israel where there’s not a lot of flights and like it’s a mess them catching a flight coming to see me like support me is amazing it’s above and beyond for me so and now if we can make a switch to your game right now things like feels like things are really coming together for you offensively and defensively we’ve talked about it from day one you said you knew you could improve you you knew you would and you have how are you feeling about your game right now I feel good I feel confident I feel like I’m making the right plays and um I feel like also I want to get better as a team you know it’s it’s it’s definitely fun being better individually I still have a lot to grow as a person as a player as a teammate I’m still far from where I want to be but the see of progress is definitely uh nice in terms of the team you know I want to grow together and like create a culture and create uh good habits for us to compete in the future and um yeah that’s it so you mentioned you want your the team to make steps what are a few things specifically you you mentioned culture but just basketball-wise what are a few things just just chemistry like being in different different situations together uh overcome obstacles it’s a long season and I feel like we’re we’re building our foundation personality and I feel like it’s a it’s a very talented team and I I think we can do a lot of great stuff but we have a long road ahead of us and uh hopefully at the end it’s going to be nice nice thank you okay finally we’re taking on the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow against Damen Lillard that you never played with but obviously left his Mark in Portland what are a few things you guys will have to do well against the Bucks to get win well obviously Dame is a very very Dynamic shooter uh especially when they got Giannis uh got to stop him in transition you know um you know I used to play versus Yannis uh four times when I was in the east coast and um right now comenting and playing versus the East Coast team is it’s weird now when you’re in the west um but they’re very uh talented team and uh we’re not getting full but you know they had a slow start to the season but they’re very talented and they’re capable of a lot of stuff so and um you know just shut their shut her water off early
