The Warriors and Heat have held discussions with one another regarding Butler this season, league sources confirmed. Although mutual interest between Butler and Golden State exists, Miami has made it clear that Jonathan Kuminga is a player they would want to be included in the framework of a potential deal for their superstar forward. While there are conflicting opinions around the league as to what Kuminga’s long-term future looks like, the Warriors have not been eager to include him in trade discussions to this point.

Butler is better than JK may be for this year. Next year and on – JK alone would be much better than Butler!!! Having said that – JK in Miami will be a starter and play 35+ minutes and achieve his growth and stardom better! Kerr is JK impediment!!

Why would you trade a 22 year old Kuminga who can score more or less like Jimmy Buttler, when Jimmy Butler is 35 years old? The Warriors dont need Butler, theyve got reliable wings who can score in Kuminga and Wiggins, What the Warriors need is a centre who can match up against the bigs of the opposing team, to relive pressure off mistmatches against Green and TJD. They need a big man to clog that middle, they dont need Jimmy Butler in exchange for a 22 year old Kuminga and a 28 year old Wiggins, Jimmy is 35 years old ….Wake up Dude !

I pray that the Warriors leadership leave Jimmy Butler where he is. He has too much emotional baggage. Who's to say he won't become unhappy in Golden State. The Warriors already have great young players. Remember how LeBron James ran all the young players off in LA. Adding Butler will not insure a championship this year.

Dude.. are you playing 2K or something? How do you account for Jimmy's 49 mil? What do you think that would do to the depth on this team. You would have to give up too much just to fill the team out. Plus that would be an entirely different team with no training camp. That is not enough time to develop chemistry.
