people are blaming the Heat and Pat Riley. when have y'all ever seen Jimmy Butler locked in while he has been on the Heat? he wanted to go to Miami to chill and focus on his "brand" in the first place. he didn't care if the Heat won a championship or not. dude cares more about coffee and commercials rather than basketball. This is on Jimmy, he's throwing a temper tantrum like a toddler just because the Heat don't want to give him more money. so he's getting a 7 game timeout. Jimmy does NOT deserve another payday, there is no evidence to support a reason to give him one. Pat Riley made the right call and now he needs to get a somewhat decent trade going. it'll be the same situation again but with Tyler Herro in the next few years, just wait on it

It’s also funny that people bring up we got him no help when we tried to trade for dame, Donovan, KD, and Kyrie to name a few and due to jimmy’s contract we couldn’t do it without nuking the roster, which if you watch the suns you know this stuff doesn’t work they went all in on a crazy talented big 3 and they are one of the worst teams in the west so I’m glad we didn’t do that and it’s time for jimmy to leave if he’s gonna keep us in the spot we are in and crash out over things that are mostly his fault tbh

I understand where Jimmy is coming from Pat Riley hasn’t done much to try to get the stars who wanted to be in Miami (Especially Damien Lillard) but going through the media in this way was not the way to handle it. Especially with the money he’s making.

He was there for 5 seasons and got them to 2 NBA Finals appearances the last time they were their Wade, Bosh and Bron back in 2012 that’s 10yrs ago. Plus an Eastern Conference. They didn’t add nothing new to help especially losing to Denver in the Finals they were suppose to hurry up and grab someone, but look at Boston soon as they lost to the Heat they brought in two key players and won the championship. I feel Butler y’all not about to waste my later years in this not going no where team, I’m out I want a championship, cuz he already got the bag…..take yo azz to Phoenix with K.D and Booker, or go to Golden State and ball out with Curry. Golden State already got hella role players they just need another scorer!!!

If he's been behaving in a manner detrimental to the team for weeks, why did it take Jimmy honestly answering a question he was asked in a press conference for him to be suspended? Post game availability after a home game is, after all, mandatory. It's not like he can control the questions he gets asked.
I like Jimmy a lot. But in the last few years, Jimmy has been inconsistent in all aspects of the game: Inconsistent in availability, production, and mood. People are sort of disillusioned with all the old guys still playing well, not realizing that is the exception for them. He is 35, and not as good as he once was. And thats ok. Miami needs consistant production from its star players. Cant be avg 25 a game, and losing games by 2-3 points constantly because you only scored 15 while taking the most shots on the team. And he has never left a team on good terms he has worn out his welcome everywhere he has been he may wind up waived on the next team if he isnt careful. It can happen.

I live in Florida, the Miami Heat organization and their wife Jimmy Butler tied the knot and got married back in 2019 and now they're in the middle of a bitter divorce because Jimmy wants his happiness back, just like his last 2 short lived marriages, to the Timberwolves and 76'ers, he's just being petty and spiteful about the inconsistency of not being provided rose petal baths everynight before bed, sad it has to end this way.😐
