Jimmy Butler is making things awkward in Miami. The All-Star gave an intense press conference making it clear he doesn’t want to be on the Heat. This is a look at what’s making him so angry and where Jimmy could go next.

  1. i love Jimmy Buckets still, i don't know many players in our era that could take his team to the finals twice and the ECF. Staight up dawg

  2. Trading Jimmy to Wizards for Kyle Kuzma and a 2nd round pick would be hilarious. I hope Pat Riley makes it happen.

  3. 4:49 why can’t he be mad at both when pat riley accused him of not playing hard enough in the regular season . It’s a bunch of issues not paying , pat Riley talking down to him , not giving him a star player to play along side him. Money is not the only reason he’s mad with the heat

  4. Nobody even Heat fans aren't mad about him wanting to get paid it's about him quitting on the team in the last few games.

  5. Jimmy isn't worth the contract extension now let alone when his contract expires, and he should be realistic enough to realize that. He also knows damn well he didn't play hard in either of those two games when he came back from a 2-week 'illness' over the holidays.

  6. I'm all for players getting as much money as possible and not taking discounts from teams—they should do what’s best for themselves and their families. After all, teams will always do what’s best for the organization and often don’t care about a player’s future or their family’s well-being. That said, a player should honor their contract and play until it’s up. Getting paid millions but choosing not to play just because you want to be traded or are unhappy isn’t right.

  7. LOL, Jimmy is full of it. He thought he could trick Pat into trading him or paying him, but he quickly realized that Pat won’t be played. Now his true self is coming out. The Heat should suspend him until they can get a great trade option, or keep him suspended until next year when he can opt out.

  8. That’s how a GM should do. Why give a max contract to an ageing player? But I’m also not for being a loyal to a franchise coz this team will trade you anytime.

  9. This is stupid, of course he wants to get paid. It's a job

That has nothing to do with him on the court. If a player takes a paycut just so some billionaire can make more money off the work that they do then they are stupid.

  10. I'll tell you right now, the reason he's not happy is because hes an entitled brat. Save yall some time

  11. Mark my word. Jimmy Butlet would not be as effective as he is with the Heat.
    This guy is obviously overrated

  12. The reason the Heat COULDN'T get him help was because they were overpaying several of their players. So they didn't have enough money. Bam, Herro, Robinson, Lowry, Whiteside, the Johnson brothers, etc. all are/were overpayed. If you continue to overpay for above-average players, you're going to get below-average results. The fact that Miami went to two Finals since 2020 with these guys is a miracle. Jimmy was a GREAT player who is just good now. And he is always injured or sitting out. And his EGO sometimes makes him make the dumb play on the court. Two years ago, the Heat would have beaten the Celtics and gone to the Finals if he had just gone to the rim with 19 seconds left instead of pulling up for a three-pointer. That was inexcusable. You can't give him what he wants because you will just continue the vicious cycle.

  13. In my job, I would be fired if I didn't perform to my best. If he is intentionally playing bad and sitting out games…. Then he shouldn't have a job. If I could earn 1/4 of what he makes, I would be the best worker ever. Crazy anyone with such massive privilege would intentionally sit out games for that kind of money.

  14. Remember Jimmy was once homeless
. The bag secures generations for this not to occur to anyone in his family

  15. Jimmy Butler is so toxic that Heat Culture could not save him.

He’s earning an average annual salary of $48 million then there he is talking about bring back that “joy” in basketball. LOL

  16. To be fair, Riley brought Lowry, Love and Rozier when the dude was trying to get a chip.
I'd want to get my money too, if they're wasting my last good years like that.

  17. All this people blaming Jimmy….

Get this… a company that does not want to give your retirement money, after giving the company profit, save it from bankruptcy, invested your life and emotions to, ….knowing you are still capable of doing the job….. worst of all give the money to your collegue (Bam) in your face…. its not about the amount of wealth you have or the money, its the disrespect…..

    Course you will react strongly…

  18. Typical YT boot licker, talk about how the heat havent done anything to get Jimmy some help for the past 5 years

  19. Just like PG only wanted money Buttler only wants money… and 76'ers are loving PG…. 😂😂😂

  20. Oh look another NBA youtuber with a gambling sponsorship. Keep promoting one of things that is ruining the NBA.

  21. Expiring contracts? What a stupid take. The salary cap is going up by a big chunk next season. And the Mavs aren't letting Luka become a free agent. So the Heat should trade Butler for expiring contracts to sing Trae Young to a max deal? Does this channel know anything about basketball?

  22. as a heat fan i am really sad to see him go but at the same time he is also just like quitting on his team js bc he wants to get paid bc i remember watching the game when he hit those crazy back to back threes and like he said in the vid jimmy is great when he is happy but he is also a great player to watch

    bye jimmyđŸ«Ą
