The guy had ONE amazing season. I always had mixed feelings about Rose, and so did many others. I hated that thousands of people (included myself) paid big money (that I worked hard for) to see him sit on the bench. It was a joke at the time. When he said family comes first he got booted by the team soon after. No one wants to hear that crap when your being paid millions and representing a city. Lucky for the organization, Deng and Noah picked up the slack. You're ending your speech with "I'm a business man now". Really? That sounds immature and silly. He was never the smartest. Having people take his state tests for him is proof. The NBA is dead because of big ego players like him who are too immature and too young to be the face of a franchise. NBA is dead.
That man represented 👏 not deserved, but EARNED
Kids today are unfortunate to never see prime D rose. No PG today comes close to how good that dude was. No PG since has ever Come close to carrying a team to multiple ECF.

I would’ve never cared much about the Bulls beyond MJ, but Rose made the impossible happen. I didn’t think I could love the team/franchise more than I did during the Rose era with everyone that was involved during that time. It was a family. I miss that family. I miss being that kind of Bulls fan. I want that feeling again. Thank you Rose for letting me feel it one more time.

Sad to say that I stopped watching basketball entirely after he got hurt the 2nd time, and I've only watched a handful of games since then. Whenever he came back and played in the UC with another team, watching the fans chant MVP…. AND his 50 point game on the Wolves. D Rose deserves all of his flowers, no pun intended. Also, shout out Joakim Noah because he also deserves all the praise he gets. Man was a monster on defense and the boards. And shout out Stacey King and Neil Funk for making every Bulls game even more exciting than it already was with their commentary. 2 of the best to ever do it.
