  1. We need to get a center we look bad against these lesser team yes we pull away in the 4rth but against good teams that will not work

  2. Sims is better than Nick Richards. The Knicks are like .5 million under the 2nd tier. Barnes is making 18 million USD.

  3. We can afford any more 2 for 1 deals especially with Duece questionable with that strained hamstring.

  4. 5:03 Thibs not playing Payne in the playoffs comment will age poorly imo. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if Thibs plays Payne over Deuce post season

  5. Please make sense. You don't trade Mitchell Robinson without seeing Robinson and KAT together. If the Knicks really want to make a trade. Trade Cam Payne, Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims plus a 2nd round pick. That should get a decent player. Tyler Kolek can replace Cameron Payne in the rotation.

  6. The Knicks issue is after KAT, they get real small at the 5. There is no need to trade Mitch and Precious (2 bigs) for an old Harrison Barnes. They need length, defense and rebounding.

  7. Harrison Barnes makes sense and hukporti is Mitch's cheaper replacement so I think it makes sense. Huk could easily play 10 to 12 minutes a night and be productive against backup bigs on both ends

  8. So here’s my take:
If the idea is to maximize the chances of winning a chip—you want to go for a lower-probability, higher ceiling situation. And because Mitch is actually the best player under discussion —but the problem is he is always hurt—it’s still the right move to roll the dice that Mitch gets healthy and make no trade.

The only way it makes sense to trade the better player (Mitch) is if the team is so dominant we just need someone reliable. But that simply isn’t the case. Boston, OKC, Cleve and Grizz are all very strong.

So we basically just need to hope Mitch will get healthy and be good.

  9. Maaaan i say keep mitch!!!
He was killing it last year playoffs on defense, and offensive rebounding.
Especially when he was giving embid the business
