Rus would be perfectly fine as a starter, to replace Jamal Murray.
Murray may play 40 minutes, but aside from assists, he isn't providing much most games now. Offensively and defensively he is a net negative for the team. It is outright dragging them down when he is almost bringing home a triple single while being a subpar defender.
Nuggets don't want to trade MPJ. I agree. Even if you absolutely need roster changes, you CANNOT trade the guy who wants to be a Nugget as much as MPJ does, unless he is worthless, which is far from true. MPJ is the only available trade piece who isn't Jokic. They can't trade Jokic OR MPJ and make the team better. It would be like selling your home to pay for a vacation.
You start Jokic, Watson, MPJ, Murray, and Russ against The Celtics and ask CB to shut down Pritchard.
Yes russell westbrook should be the permanent starter stop this russell westbrook is unplayable in the playoffs he can adjust his game he playing under a different system plus he wasn't starting with the clippers when he was the starting point guard in the playoffs with the clippers playing against the suns he average 23 points a game
I agree with Matt that there is no way he made that shot that's because he didn't. In my opinion it was the secret service most likely by accident but covered it up because who in the world would believe that it was an accident and it would look sooo bad that the people who were supposed to guard the president's life were so incompetent that they actually took his life. They would have looked like a laughing stock to the whole world and no way were they going to let that happen.

When will people stop overhyping KCP and disrespecting CB?? Let's compare their production this season: CB 14/5/2 KCP 9/2/2 , CB has better FG% (55.5 vs 41.4), CB has better 3p% (35.7 vs 30.8), so what are we talking about???

Denver just doesn't have momentum. If Jamal was tradeable, I would gladly send him for Butler, sign a two-year extension with Butler, and next season trade him anywhere and free up cap space for 58 million.

Julian is non NBA caliber player even in Europe he will played garbage time. 32% 3 point shooting and keep drop, realistic is 29,5% alongside very bed defense, fouling for 3+1 points in every game, along with CB, which shows that CB is not mature enough to be starter yet, and maybe never will be, because he is more comfortable coming off the bench for 25-28 minutes, where he would of course close the games for the last 6 minutes . Play off with this bench = first round playoff exit, except if we play the Lakers.

Jimmy might be to much of a disruptor in the Jokic team culture. Jimmy is a high locker room culture influence player so chemistry might be an issue because Russel submitted, but Jimmy might not.
I don’t think CB should come off the bench for Russ honestly I think… Russ is still a great energiser or the 2nd unit. Let’s keep that.

Guys, you are running out of interesting topics it is waste of time spending so much time on the Butler trade. Two topics which would be interesting are:
1. Trades and strategy that nuggets have to adopt if the objective is to win a title over this, next and after the next following season without particular priority in respect of the season.. This give chance to combine development and optimal trades rather than short term fixes which you tend to push.
2. Toxicity within the team causwd by Murray. Is there any and if so how is reflected. What is the problem with JM. Is he much worse layer rhan generally perceived or is he a great player with a bad unprofessional attitude.. He seems to be perpetually injured – should this br attributed to genetics or bad luck or lack of proper preparation and unprofessionalism. If there is an issue with JM attitude the effects of it should be discussed.
3. You constantly seem to be pushing for trade which is ok. Did nuggets have a game ir games where all pieces played as expected. If JM sometimes play well and as expected but not all time, if the same apply for Braun, Pwats etc maybe problem are not players per se but consistency. If so is the case it is difficult to see how the trade would fix anything. Maybe the best policy is to stick with what they have, hope that
They will become more consistent, that young players development will go right way and to wait for the season end to make radical changes should those be needed.

Before the OKC game, I thought if Boston beat OKC they get to Denver after a stretch of away games and wins, they always had a tendency of being off every once in a while and we have a shot. The moment Boston lost to OKC, I knew we were going to be in trouble.😂
