Good thoughts, Vic. In the 4th quarter during close games, if you and your teammates just secured 2s instead of playing poker with 3s, you would feel more confidence, more strength when you are tired and you would all make progress by struggling within the arc. Do not let poker 3s in close games in the 4th destroy what you have built so well during the first 3 quarters. Do you really think that Michael Jordan would have attempted 3s when you were still leading by 1 in the late 4th quarter? Do you really think Mike would have chosen the poker 3pts basket instead of the struggling 2pts as you and Jeremy did? And also, the skyhook should be one of your best weapons. Kareem Abdul Jabbar said it last year. Listen to the all time greats. You would honor yourself by honoring them.

Since Vassel and Sochan back in the line up Spurs had a lot of close game. They win some but the lost one is really worst. When Spurs doesnt have Sochan or Vassel in the line up, Spurs beats a lot of top teams and almost had no close game when they win. Its clear, Wemby's game is for an elite teammates. Vassel and Sochan sucks.

Stop shooting bogus 3s cause when you miss it kills the momentum. 2 point shots matter, going to basket constantly matter and over helping on defense hurt individually a player trying to get better at it. Mitch Johnson is just lousy. He allows guys like Castle, who is a terrible shooter, to just throw up 3's from anywhere. And what was that play call at the end? Wemby dancing with the ball and taking a tough three, when he should have drawn something up to get your best 3 point shooter Champagnie the ball. And has any coach ever told Wemby when he gets a rebound or pass anywhere near the rim, to go up with it instead of passing out to one of our poor shooters? He's either going to score or be fouled 9 times out of 10

Is it Mitch Johnsons duty to keep non winning lineups on the floor? Having a line up of Tre Jones/Castle/Champagnie/Keldon/Wemby in the 3rd quarter for way too long. A lineup of 3 non shooters to provide no spacing around Wemby is ridiculous.

They always come out strong.. then totally abandon that game plan once they have a bigger lead and begin to just chunk 3 pointers and lazy passes.. its sooo much… but you cant keep losing these big leads.. The bulls didn't have the lead until the 2nd half of the 4th quarter.

Happy to hear that he and the team are accepting accountability. There is a learning curve that all great teams must experience. As much as fans are ready for them to compete at the highest levels, we need to temper our expectations. This team is getting incrementally better. We already know Wemby is a generational player and getting better. We need to identify which other players are capable and willing to commit to the winning culture. Our team is getting better everyday. We will be okay!

I love how much Wemby cares. He’s giddy like a little kid when the Spurs win and visibly pissed and frustrated when they lose. He’s generational…but no one is perfect. He’s young and he’ll grow. However, the desire and passion is there without a doubt. That’s what you want from a leader.
Sochan has lost his confidence, and I'm not sure whether it's due to the team or the coaching staff. He won't improve his shooting if he doesn't get more attempts per game. For instance, in the game against Philly, he made three consecutive 3-point shots. I wonder why the team didn't create more shooting opportunities for him. How can they build confidence in a young player when, just a few games ago, he was practically ignored in offensive plays, only to be forced to take the clutch shot later? It's frustrating to see him hesitate to take those shots. It seems like the coaching staff isn’t doing enough to address this issue.
This is when coaching is crucial. You see your guys starting the fumble around and making mistakes. You need to stop and recenter them. Start drawing up plays and telling them to STOP SHOOTING BAD SHOTS. My God they were just chucking up threes praying it would go in
You have to respect this man's game to the utmost! He's got to get another All Star to help him out of this slump… When Wemby is on the court, they're on top of the world, but as soon as he goes out, the Spurs fall apart. It's saddening to watch. 😢
