And JJ will get fired because the players didn't perform and follow the system he put in place. It's not JJ's fault that the players on the floor aren't making their shots. The coach quite literally can't do anything about their team shooting bricks all game, you just have to tough it out mentally. The problem with this Lakers team is chemistry. It's win NOW mode more than ever for that franchise, because Lebron is on his way out in 2 years tops, and they want to win with him again. That has been their mentality since Lebron got there, and I think it's starting to finally take it's toll. So many different players they've tried to bring into the system and culture they once had, but that culture seems to be gone, and the now new guys don't have any morale to fall back on. Everyone wants to blame Lebron, blame JJ, blame Rob Pelinka, when in all reality, it's just the nature of sports, and a declining super star. It's more than just Lebron. It's more than just JJ. It's more than just Pelinka. Firing one person doesn't make this team better in any way in the short term, and by short term, I mean the next 5 to 10 years once Lebron actually does retire. The Lakers will be a bottom of the barrel NBA team without some extreme luck at that point
