I think Cade's play style is reminiscent of Harden and Luka; big point guard who can control the tempo of the game at will and methodically maneuver wherever he wants to get whatever he wants. The difference between Cade and those other guys is that they're physically slow. They've gained weight, they're overly slow in getting into the half court action, and they might be mental sharp but they act like they're slow processors and they absolutely look like its a pain to play with them, judging by ow every non-pick and roll partner just stands in the wings waiting when sharing the court together. But Cade moves the ball crisply, distributes it to everyone without seeming like he plays favorites, pushes the ball ahead in transition, rotates on defense with real intent even if he's not the quickest guy, and even cedes ball-handling duties to guys like Jaden Ivey to ensure nothing gets stagnant when they share the court together. This is a guy that dudes would LOVE to play with.
