Jimmy obviously can't give it his all every night. He's not the most athletic player and he's in his 30s. Fans need to Stop asking for things they can't get. But overall he still deserved the extension.
Jimmy is getting old and his body can’t hold up like it use too with his play style and the nba in general. I would trade him for fox in a 3 team trade or his ass is gonna sit on the bench and waste a year of his life and a year of potentially winning a chip. 🥱 buddy was injured last playoffs people are acting like he took the team to the finals last year. Jimmy Butler cares more about the max extension than a championship. Memphis is the #2 team in the west and hed be able to win there.

I agree with you on this. The fact is if you look at the way Jaime is being used, getting near triple doubles, he isn’t being played that much differently than Jimmy. If it was a coaching issue, Jaime would not be as engaged either.

Could the Heat assign Jimmy Butler to their G League team and if they could if he refused to play could they withhold his salary. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist.
Not only that, but they got a roster that can compete for a championship to now, if Miami Heat would’ve have made some move during this off-season. We wouldn’t be seeing this.
