Refs sold it
what i saw was good ball till the 11 min mark when the dumb ass coach put Simon’s in and the ball just stopped moving. Simon’s started taking every shot and holding on to to the ball without passing full possession. He clearly and visibly took the momentum from sharpe camara and avdia away. Three minutes after that bs’ery he shoved in a small ball line up where the tallest player on our team was avdia while the mavs had lively on the court at this point and time blazers had no momentum and had no way to grab a rebound or guard the center which was the dumbest thing you could do. And that’s how they go the lead. With two minutes left Simon’s kept chucking and playing no d and the refs started taking over, but it didn’t matter since everyone started playing iso ball thanks to Simon’s and lost all momentum thanks to billups. Camara was furious at the damn coach because he’s now to scared to challenge an obvious call and he pleased the team with the same “respect” the next play. I just don’t know how all of you guys still manage to defend those two useless people… billups has no idea what he’s doing and Simon’s is just a damn ball hog who’s ruining the team.
100% this loss falls on Billups, that dude definitely had money riding on the blazers losing. Slowed down the offense till players got out of rhythm, put in the insane small lineup to ensure the lead would evaporate and just all around god awful coaching. If you can’t see that then you’re for sure just simping for the dude.
