The Greens made it five in a row with a strong performance with several players shining.
Reigning champion Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens improved to 13-7 in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and celebrated its fifth successive victory after overpowering Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 96-84 on the back of a game-high 25 points from top scorer Kendrick Nunn and a majestic display from Jerian Grant.
With influential playmakers Lorenzo Brown and Kostas Sloukas sidelined, Grant pulled all the strings on offense as he racked up 14 points, 8 assists and 7 boards, propelling a smooth effort at both ends. Cedi Osman also stood out with arguably his best game of the season garnished by 18 points, Omer Yurtseven added 17 and Juancho Hernangomez amassed 15 to go with 8 rebounds.
At the other end, Sterling Brown stood out for Partizan with 23 points, Brandon Davis netted 19 and Iffe Lundberg scored 16, but the visitors missed a bigger input from their backcourt dynamos Carlik Jones and Duane Washington who scored a mere 4 points between them.
The visitors dropped to a 9-11 record and face an uphill battle to make the postseason after a lackluster display devoid of energy, having been outplayed in every department.
