I love Joker but OKC is 30-5 missing their second best player for most of the season.

I LOVE Jokic, but I’m also objective and as of TODAY (could change) SGA is clearly the MVP (not best player but league MVP that’s Jokic) bc

2nd in total steals, BPM, VORP, PER, DBPM, OBPM.
For Swipa to not mention everything I just said above about SGA=🙄. He’s #1 in most respected metrics (EPM & Estimated Wins AKA EW on dunks & 3s), best +/- per game BY FAR, best net rating per 100 +/- by far of any MVP candidate and his team (on which he’s played every game!) on pace for 22 more wins (70 vs 48…and that’s w/ Chet out nearly 3/4 of the games, I-Hart & , Caruso around 15 games each).
Again things can change for sure, but as of TODAY SGA is OBJECTIVELY MVP especially based on past history. Swipa mentioned 87-88 MVP MJ, but he left out there was no comp close to SGA level yr that yr on team w/ 60-70 wins!
What I will say is Jokic was ROBBED in 22-23 of MVP when he essentially averaged a 25 point triple double on 70% TS% leading every analytic on the #1 seed in the West! Especially since 76ers and Bucks that year were around 11-5 without Embiid/Giannis playing while Nuggets under .500 without Joker!
Jokic should already have 4 MVP! The first ever with 4 straight! That is true, but it’s also true that as of TODAY SGA should clearly be MVP (not to be confused with best player in the world bc if that were the case Wilt, MJ, LeBron all have way more MVPs).
Jokic & SGA are both having INSANE all time great years, but bc SGA team on pace to win 12-22 more games then Nuggets that’s why SGA as of today is favored to win MVP (-130 vs +130 vs Jokic).
PS Nuggets 2-0 vs Celtics last year with Jamal Murray AVERAGING 27, 7, 7 on elite efficiency. I think they win tonight vs Celtics though no AG def makes it tougher.
Imagine if Malone set some double screens for MPJ to run around a la Reggie or Klay? 5-6 extra points per game.

Next to Joker, MPJ is my favorite player. My only criticism is his defensive rebounding in traffic. He has some weight to throw around this year and get the smaller guys off the block.

I'm over this mind set that we need a murray game .. we need to come to grips with what you see is what you get with murray inconsistent scorer and sub par defender .. he is not that explosive anymore hes not even the second option anymore I'd say he's now behind JOKIC, MPJ.
