Gobert has been really good in his role, but KAT didnāt thrive as a PF. They bet on KAT maintaining his performance from his time as a center, and they lost. Did they try to trade Gobert and find no takers? š¤·āāļø

Wolves Receive Cam Johnson Ziare Williams and a 2025 2nd Round Pick
Brooklyn Receive Julius Randle.
As a Twolves fan Im not trying to hate on Julius but he simply doesnāt fit the team at all tgis trade would benefit us alot and we can even maybe start Naz for a bit and see how that would work.

Life long Wolves fan. IMO, the team doesnāt want Randle to resign next year. Ant isnāt in his prime and still developing. We couldnāt beat OKC or Luka with KAT, so this is a 2-3 year play. Our core will be Ant, Jayden, Naz, Donte and Rudy. Then you have Dillinger taking over for Connelly, Terrance Shannon as the new 7-8th man, and a $30M+ gap with Randle gone. If Edwardās was truly entering his prime or in it, they wouldnāt have made such a drastic trade. Iām fine with them being 6th seed in the west right now. Anything more than that is gravy at this point.
Every underestimated the impact Karl Anthony towns had on that team really feels like he was the only reason that team worked so well

What they need to do is bench mike Conley and Rudy gobert and start donte divencenzo and naz reid. Mike Conley is old and washed and bad at defense but at this point in his career maybe he would thrive in a sixth man role playing the others teams bench where he can have the ball in his hand more while edwards gets rest. Rudy gobert absolutely murders their spacing he canāt make a hook shot from 3 feet away from the hoop and canāt even catch the basketball really they just need to trade his ass and start naz reid he a great shooter heāll space the floor for randle and ant. And they run randle as the point forward have him run the offense that could even open shit up for ant and divencenzo they arenāt playmakers
