  1. The problem with Ingram is, he isn’t a winner. Plays no defense. He is basically Kevin Durant with lesser talent and no D.

  2. The trade cost and extension cost may have dropped, there's been a bit of a reckoning. Say Duren/THJ & 2029 (works with Moore incl). I have serious reservations about Ingram even if he's extended only at 30 mill per. I'd trust Langdon if he does it for a very reasonable cost, but it seems like we should probably let Ron and Ausar bloom instead. I tend to doubt Cade wants a poor mans version of himself playing PF as well.

  3. If I’m sitting here carefully curating a winning roster, I simply wouldn’t make a bold move unless it’s a no brainer type of player when you have 2 forwards you drafted top 5 in the last year. The smart way to keep this team on a upward trajectory is to play out the rest of the year, make some minor tweaks/extensions in the offseason and then see how the development is going by next years trade deadline/offseason

  4. There is no one on this current roster, that I would want to give up for Brandon Ingram. This team is just now starting to reestablish an identity of Detroit style basketball, and I don’t want us to go out and bring in any lazy players, to disrupt the chemistry that has been building.
