Scottie Barnes finished with a team-high 24 points along with 10 rebounds for the Raptors in the losing effort. The Cavaliers improve their record to 33-4 with the win, while the Raptors fall to 8-30 for the season. The Cavaliers’ next game is Sunday, 1/12/2025, against the Pacers on the road (6:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network – Ohio/FanDuel Sports Network – Indiana), while the Raptors continue their road trip on Saturday, 1/11/2025, when they face the Pistons (7:00 PM ET, FanDuel Sports Network – Detroit).

What a difference coaching makes. This is the same team the previous coach had, yet here they are arguably the best team in the league just a season later. They went from tanking the last game of the season last year for an easier match-up in the first round of the playoffs to taking no prisoners the very next season, no matter the team.

Cavs got in trouble from coach for being a little less unlocked in on defense against okc… said they were too focused on offense. They were super not locked in vs the raptors. You can tell they got chewed out for that. Should be interesting to see them over the next few games
