I can’t wait until these so called Houston podcast hosts get that FAFO karma when Jalen goes off the rest of the season. This play that he’s had is not like the last seasons he went off. He’s more precise about his spots. And he doesn’t get the whistle like most drive heavy guards like SGA. Once the refs respect that he will be unguadable he damn near already is
I agree. I’m old. Pull the trigger. Let’s get Fox and Booker ASAP!!!
Every time we think about trading Green, he has a couple of good games to change our minds, but after 3 and a half years… he is who he is… super inconsistent. How do go for 34 points one night then 10 the next???
I hate when people say just be patient, trust the process… okay, let’s sit on our hands and watch Fox go the Spurs so he can burn us for the next 10 years… would of could of should’ve
Tari is soooo gooood “ when healthy “ but we may never see him at full strength again
If we do nothing, we will win 50 games this year and get to the playoffs. Maybe win the first round but that’s it. If we make these trades for Fox and Booker…. We are as good as anyone!!!! The sky’s the limit

I would still be open to a 3rd trade with Sengun for Yannis if we get Fox and Booker. There’s our big 3 right there
Fixable how? Nothing wrong with Whitmore. He’s a second year player. Seems to me like he’s ahead of schedule.
We need a 4 that can defend, cam and Tate at the 4 just exposes our bigs.
Once again it's clear the worst thing by far of the Rockets as a franchise are the media and journalists around them
If we could get both Booker and Fox, then I would do those trades.
@Robert The actual difference between Fox and JG is mins played. Over the past 3 years JG has played a little over 7.5% less than Fox which happens to track with the difference in their FG%. As you said, you know what you get with Fox (which means 1 ~ 3 years of the same production then probable decline) where with Green there is change with more than probable growth for the next 5 years. I say this as not a JG fanatic. I just don't see the urgency or need to make expensive mediorce trades. I really don't see Fox or Booker moving the needle like that.
If Devin Booker’s team is sitting at 12th seed with Kevin Durant.. why should we trade away our talent when we’re currently 2nd seed? This is just simple logic. & btw I would be more concerned about Sengun’s performance as of late than Jalen.. let’s stop pretending that Sengun is flawless when Ime has to take him out at the end of certain games.. let’s end the bias
We all want the Rockets to do well Mr Robert but we gotta trust these guys. It took SGA several years to become the player he is now. But look who’s regretting that trade now, the LA clippers fans. Where’s Paul George now? I think somewhere in Philly. Key word is trust the process.
I don’t see a world where a back court of De’Aaron fox and Devin Booker would work out good in Houston. On paper it’s fantastic, in practical term it could be a disaster. We have all seen so many of such back court before and they ended badly. Examples; Damian Lillard & CJ McCollum, Trae Young & Dejounte Murray, Russ Westbrook & James Harden, kyrie Irving & James Harden, Kyle Lowry & Demar DeRozen. Tell me which of these back court pairing even took their teams to the finals? Non. Now hear this, these back court pairs got broken up and traded. The back court we wanna see in Houston is Jalen & Amen. Fvv is going next season. Jalen is just 22 and when you look at him , you would see a top 10 player in few years.
No. And yes. Do i still need to listen to the podcast?
Lol. I'll probably listen, but I hate the trade talk. Rockets are deep and cooking. And star chasing doesn't work except to kill team chemistry
I hope the rockets have solution for Cam whitemore dilemna, dude seems unhappy or maybe (attitude?) problem
Examples of teams that kept their core and perform (continuity is underrated in the nba);
– Memphis Grizzlies
– OKC Thunder
– Nuggets
I will stop there. I agree you have to upgrade the roster to win big but we won't really know where until the playoffs. We might just need back up upgrade and internal progression.
However we have many cases where going away from the process early go wrong because we never know how will be the team chemistry, and if we will be as good defensively also. And if it fails you have superstars unhappy and you accelarate your downfall.
Robert Land just does not like Jalen. Maybe Jalen didn’t give him an interview or something but the bias is definitely there.
De'Aaron Fox, Devin Booker, Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith Jr., and Alperen Sengun as a starting unit while still having the likes of Tari Eason and FVV available for the 2nd rotation doesn't sound bad.
I'm very doubtful that the Kings and the Suns would accept those offers. I think they'd want more…but as a hypothetical, it looks great on paper.
My concern is that Alpi won't be able to grow in this scenario, because he'll be the 4th best player on the court. This'll also leave us with Aaron Holiday, Jae'Sean Tate, Jeff Green, and Steven Adams as the bench unit. If any of our starters get hurt, we or bench unit is cooked. We lose a lot of flexibility with our rotations because the depth isn't there.
Is Cam Whitmore fixable? Of course. Unfortunately he is on a very good team that doesn’t allow his game to expand very quickly.
His position is to come off the bench and be an offensive spark. If you want to get his ast numbers up…. We’ll put him in a position to be a bit more of a playmaker… but he will have to make mistakes and HOU can’t afford that now
No stay put rockets
I think the coach knows what’s he’s doing by taking his time we’re a 100 percent better than last year
That’s why you’re on the show and not making the decisions
