  1. How insane would it be if this all got swept under the rug, and Jimmy just played the rest of his years in Miami. We all know how allergic Miami has been of trades, why stop now?

  2. he has a player option… he can just walk after the season, if i’m him i play out the season and walk on the heat leaving them with no return

  3. Pg shoots 33% from 3 has a 41% fg & a 52% ts he’s been abysmal this year jimmy clears him I don’t wanna hear about being two years younger Jimmy is worth it

  4. Riley right. Just because today's spoiled millionaire players want something does not mean you have to give them more cause they will always want MORE.

  5. Rewarding Jimmy for his past contributions would GUARANTEE that Miami will not win a title in his era. The man ALREADY got paid. So if they're not going to win a title, why the hell would they hamstring the team for years to come? Jimmy makes almost $600,000 PER GAME. Let that sink in…The guy is one of only SIX players making $50 million. He is not even Top 25 in production anymore. As for Lillard, Riley did the right thing. He would have gutted the team for ANOTHER aging star that would NOT have made a difference.

  6. Imagine Pat Riley says fuck it sends Jimmy to NBA purgatory like Detroit or Washington knowing Jimmy will def decline his option but what happens next is that Jimmy gets no decent offers AT ALL cuz who tf would want a injury prone 36 year old who only appears for a guaranteed 28 games a season 50+ Mil for the next 4 years while being a absolute pissy diva if nothing goes his way and now he's forced to play on a minimum cuz no team was willing to give him a decent contract 😂😂😂 ngl that would be a fitting way for Butler's career to end as he has been bitching for so many years and in the end it bites him back in the ass cuz everyone had enough of his shit 😂😂😂

  7. If PG can get a max with his 💩 track record and injury history.
Jimmy deserves a max as he has proved himself more reliable even at his age.

  8. Let him walk and lose out on his money. He'll go get paid less and do nothing, then his career will be know only for how Miami made him a star but he couldn't take them farther because he wasn't a superstar.

  9. No matter what angle you look at it, Jimmy butler is just a basketball player. He is replaceable – the team owner can exercise the right not pay him – that because of his behaviour. But that is not good for the business. So they opted to just simply trade him.

  10. He's not a franchise player can't give you Ring you can't rely in him when it matters kike in Championship vs Denver

  11. Jimmy Butler deserves this snub after all the hell he dragged his previous teams thru, don’t give this bum what he wants

  12. Not trying to sound like a Hassan Whiteside hater but Riley chose to pay him a bag when he hadn't done anything and let DWade walk when Wade should've been a Heat lifer. Not to mention if any other GM had been in Pat Riley's shoes they would've been fired now in the decade since Lebron left. Without Butler Miami is a perennial 6 seed or lower team that never makes it far in the playoffs for 10 years. If I'm Butler I want a good team around me, if you're not willing to do that then give me a bag but Riley can't have it both ways and I do believe JB doesn't expect he can have it both ways either. I don't wanna go down the what if road too much but I doubt JB is looking for a max extension if Riley spent the money to get pieces to contribute to playoff contention.
