To be honest I don't want revenge against OKC tonight, I want revenge in the playoffs because that would mean the Knicks winning the NBA Finals.

Man should the Knicks front office just accept that "Thibs is Thibs"? This is pretty crazy. Of course over-playing guys will have an effect, of course they will get tired and miss shots, and play poor defense, and also potentially get injured. Defense takes so much energy, especially when you're guarding top players in nba. I honestly don't see how this approach is defensible – I mean, Thibs obviously knows the game and is a great coach, but as a head coach, running the show, how can he defend this approach? I feel like maybe Thibs is just joking everybody, punking us, seeing how long it'll take, til we realize it's a joke. Also, about Hart's and Towns' comments, like how do they come to the conclusion that he has been a successful head coach?? I must have missed all the success. He's been a head coach for nearly 15 years and has been to conference finals once, in 2011. How many head coaches have not been to the conference finals in the past 12 years? I mean, head coaches with a full-time gig for the last 12 years and haven't been to the conference finals? His playoff record is poor, 38-47 according to Wiki, and he's had plenty of good teams. We'll see how this team does in the playoffs….. probably be a mess by that time anyways

You guys all made great points on the minutes issue – all of your concerns make sense. I really don't understand how Thibs can defend his approach. And what's his response to these arguments? I would like to hear it. Does he not need to explain himself? He has a very extreme approach by modern nba standards.
The only solution is to develop the rooks. Not enough for a trade, so give all 3 rooks some burn. Otherwise, injuries will sabotage the playoffs just like last year. If that happens again, you have to question this coach. This is the guy who ran D-Rose and Deng into the ground. It's what he does.

the starting lineup is really good (not great) on offense but I don't like them defensively. Ideally, KAT would play the 4, but the ideal 5 to play alongside him is too pricey for this teams wallet right now. IHart, funny enough, would be perfect as the starting 5. I'm tempted to say the FO should cash in their bigs, Mitch and Precious, and go all-in for a proper starting 5. NBA salaries are constantly increasing, grabbing a guy who is on a multi-year contract may be the way to to go. Jakob Poeltl could be the answer. Hart would return to 6th man, helping the bench tremendously, and could still play with the starters in a NY version of GS' death lineup.

Its insane that in many games the Knicks would be blowing out the opponent and Thibs decides to bring in the bench at around the 1 or 2 minute mark
