He had 32 and 16, BUT he missed an @$$ ton of free throws. Dude would have had damn near 40 if he hit a decent clip.
As far as the Rockets, they don't have what we consider "that guy" yet, but most of the best players can't rent a car without paying an additional youth fee.

Grizz a solid team. And Sengun had a couple off games before the Grizz game.
Rockets fans were surprised how much damage Sengun did inside the post. Edey with his rookie fouls and Huff… I blame the Refs less and would look inward more.

Verno had the comparison right about sengun being more like sabonis which isnt a bad thing at all.
Jalen Green has won multiple games this year due to him being clutch. Watch tape of the first Mavs game for example or the Spurs game.
Even against the Grizzles before an errand pass he was making clutch tough buckets.
Writing off a 22 year old guard who's a leading scorer of a 50+ win pace team to ever be a closer is wild.

Alperen to Sabonis isn’t the comparison as Sabonis isn’t nearly the offensive threat that Sengun is. A better comparison for Sengun would be another Memphis Grizzly, Pao Gasol.

Hater bs like this is just another example of media pushing negative narratives about basketball. Man people really don't appreciate how great this season has been, and are missing out by being so stat and narrative focused. That they don't even understand what is actually going on in basketball right now.

Btw Adams has been averaging close to a rebound per minute off the bench last few games. That has really been a big underrated story atm

It will be a shame if Rockets don't get any all star nod being #2 in a loaded West. They should have a representative in there..
And I think they should make a minor trade to upgrade their rotation. Maximize the fact they have tons of expiring contracts & draft assets. Someone that can address need and improve them offensively, a John Collins or Corey Kispert maybe..
