I don't understand how they can play drop coverage off a pick and roll, it actually looks hilarious. The guard is trying to run around the screen and towns stays in the paint and it's actually open foul line jumpers. I don't know basketball so well, can someone explain to me why they do this? It's literally killing the knicks defense. It looks like every simple pick and roll is the 1st time they've seen the play b4, they just do the same thing every time and it's obviously not working.

We’ve been pretending this whole time with Leon Rose, Thibs.. the players we had.. the players we got in free agency and trade…our semi success… if we don’t have the fundamental ability to defend and grind it out like we did in spurts like last postseason… we’re going t go back down like we did during the end of the Melo era! We stockpiled all those picks and tradeable assets.. for basically one offensive star and some mid tier guys … not waiting and giving all that away on the Bridges pick up…will always be a mistake unless Mikal was averaging 30 shooting over 50% fg and 45%+ from 3! TBH…Towns is looking good can’t cap on that!… but what if Julius and Donte were shining with the Wolves? Would we still feel that way? Cmon now.. only because the Wolves end of the bargain, is why we’re even celebrating Towns impact so far.. if Julius and Divencenzo was going off! We’d be blaming Towns for his BLATANT INABILITY TO GUARD.. smh… not to mention OG not giving effort.. our Bench players are D League…..Hart the only one that actually plays hard every game.. and he’s the least offensively talented of the starters…he’s the MVP of the Knicks.. Brunson has been completely EXPOSED… defensively… he’s been scouted and schemed for! Night in and night out this what you’re gonna see… so what other BAGS does he have to combat that? He’s undersized and shoots too much.. sick of this pipe dream shit!
What we are watching is undisciplined basketball. No structure creates chaos and inconsistency and all that is a coaching issue. Granted actual play isn’t going unnoticed but start from the root of the evil.

Our defense sucks. Jalen Brunson and Bridges allow the opposition to go right past them. We need to insert the German city in the starting line up. Put Towns at the 4. OG needs play with more heart. Lots of work to be done. Head coach is suspect. I have been a fan since 1970.

Knicks extremely missing Donte who impacted the team scoring, defense, aggressiveness, and grit. Coach Thibs is responsible for the success or failures on the team. It's crazy, the coach has young core rookies and does not trust them. It is time that the Knicks change the starting five. We need to strong forwards, the starting five should be OG, Precious, KAT (C), Jalen, J.Hart. Ariel H should be the center backup.

I'm sorry but it doesn't sound like you believe. If you believe then why don't you say so? You sound like the casuals. Where's the energy you have when they smash teams? When the Knicks traded for OG all I heard from fans and media was how great a defender this guy was, how he can lock down other teams top wings, blah blah blah we got fleeced in that trade and 6 picks for Mikail Brickes 0 points in the biggest game of the year? Brunson aint the same player he was the first 2 years.
