So the guy who was -25 and played terrible offense and said from his own mouth he played god awful defense gets no smoke? U basically excused his play and said his deficiency that exist 100 percent of a time is better than a lack of focus or effort that comes and goes. The fact that he was hunted all night says it all. AR is a good player with great effort. But the jumping through hoops to avoid criticize him is too obvious.

As a Celtics fan, OKC is really good. But it will still be really tough to beat the Celtics in a 7 game series. It definitely could be a Thunder/Celtics finals.

Mailbag question: Hey Jason love the show! I am a Warriors fan and I have been thinking about what trades we should make to become a real championship contender. I dont really understand the reason to trade for Vucevic or some mid center because our best lineup in the playoffs will be with Draymond at the 5, I like Cam Johnson if the trade doesnt include Wiggins or JK, we probably wont get LeBron or KD, so I thought about the trade that would sent Kuminga and other role players with draft capital to New Orleans for Zion. I think the Warriors as a winning environment would help Zion get through his struggles off the court and as a basketball fit he would just bring down hill dominance that would open up everything for everyone on offense, on defense he just has to do his job and I think the defense will be fine. This trade is high risk high reward but if everything goes right I think it puts us in a much better spot rn and for the future and I think Zion would make us better than someone like Jimmy or Brandon Ingram. So what do you think about this idea is it stupid or is there any other trade that you have in mind for Golden state? And do you think a healthy starting 5 of Steph, Denis (Cam if we can pull that off too), Wiggins, Zion, Draymond and the bench with like 3 reliable role players can bring us another chip? I hear a lot of people say that they are a team that needs to find a way to raise their offensive ceiling, but can throw a hellacious defensive punch. From a historic perspective do you think this years Thunder is more comparable to the ‘04 Pistons, the ‘08 Celtics, or the ‘09 Lakers in how they are made up at this current moment?

One big thing to note about the thunder is they are not remotely close to healthy ! Missing the second or third best player and your defensive anchor (possibly PDOY) in Chet, missing one of your top three perimeter defenders in Caruso and your missing Ajay who is having a great rookie season and has been putting in consistent good meaningful minutes off the bench. It’s just crazy that the thunder are this good and haven’t been fully healthy once this season! The game against the Cavs tonight will be a big test for thunder, if they can slow down the Cavs offense enough and if Shai and Jdub can bring the heat on offense and lead the charge we should have this game. But nothing is guaranteed when thunder, Cavs or Boston play each other! It’ll be a good game tonight and I’m looking forward to it!

MAILBAG: I am a Celtics fan but also a fan of the game, and I really enjoyed yesterday's game between OKC and the Cavs. Congratulations to Atkinson who really is a very good coach, but at the same time, in defense of JB Bickerstaff, we shouldn't forget that Garland was far from being himself last year, and that Mobley seems to have improved a lot during the summer (or maybe is that the Atkinson's effect?). Aside from that, who do you think has the best chance to dethrone the Celtics in the East? to me and so far, every team being healthy (Celtics included), I really only fear this Cavs team.
