Been saying this the biggest flaw with this team is the center rotation. Nurk is too slow and a horrible pick and roll defender with zero shot blocking defense. Nick fits the roster perfectly can run the floor incredible athleticism and a good shot blocker/rim protector. On offense he can be a lob threat and get us offensive rebounds and be more effective at setting screens

Nick Richards does not need to shoot 3s he just needs short roll passes and lob threats.

Let’s talk about Green
Strengths include very good athleticism, being Australian, surprisingly decent passing, always gives 110% effort and hustle no matter what, knack for getting 1-2 impressive offensive rebounds a game.
Weaknesses however, struggles a lot to get over screens leading to poor perimeter defense at times, poor confidence on offense to shoot even when left wide open occasionally, avg or streaky shooter on low volume which can be frustrating. Height is 6’3-4 at best and is undersized for a wing player. Struggles to create own shot.
Overall he is an avg role player. Though he is still young and has potential. If Green is your 7th or 8th man in the rotation then he is good in that role. The main reason Dallas replaced green with QGrimes is because grimes is a much more consistent and willing shooter.
I don’t think Hornets will give Josh Green and Nick Richard’s for Nurkic. It might be Nick Richards and injured Grant Williams. They may want to move off his contract

Hornets wouldn't do this deal unless they offload equal or more long-term salary.

Nick Richards is a very underrated and underappreciated player. Josh Green when used right and allowed to play in his role into his skills, he's a fantastic 3&D guy, which the Suns really need more defensive players. Nick is a quality post defender, has good athleticism, and solid rebounder. You guys already have solid offensive players and shooters both starting and off the bench, so you do NOT need another shooter/scorer on the team, especially at the Center spot. If you get both of those guys, you're going to be notably improved overall. Nurk could have been one of the best Centers in the league, but absolutely lost his confidence and passion when he snapped his leg in half for us in Portland. All in all, this would be good long term for both Charlotte and Phoenix.
