Zion was a menace on defense all night. 7 rebounds and 5 steals. He was doing it on both ends all night

Let’s be real, this pelicans team is a pretty good team. I would use the high draft pick to either get Flagg or Harper. Then throw a lot of picks to get Myles turner or markkanen. You would instantly be contenders after one year. All this talk of blowing this team up makes no sense. Not many team can survive injuries.Worse case is you have a box office team, who wouldn’t want to watch Zion play with cooper Flagg. Pelicans are just lacking a true second scorer. They have a decent point guard in dejonte already and a few decent shooters in trey and Hawkins. The pelicans just need to stick together, I can see this team turning the corner with a few more pieces. To be honest if they even had a Al horford or porzhinghis on their team this team would look a lot better.

1) Zion needs to stay healthy 2) he needs to be on a different team…there is no way he should be taking only 15 shots in a game, he needs to be the FOCAL POINT of the attack, unless someone else just catches fire. So much potential of a team wasted with trash coaching.
