Our roster is the problem, the fact that we are starting Taurence Prince when he wouldn't be starting on any other team is just proof of that. But given that we are a 2nd apron team, and Horst doesn't seem to understand talent, it's going to be difficult to get the players we need, we have no choice to but work with what we have. We started K-Middy against Brooklyn and Portland, it was awful, I guess we no choice to go back to Khris since we can't rely on Dame being our only shot creator. Yes we definitely need to be starting Gary Trent at SG.
We REALLY need shooters and playmakers in the starting lineup (AJ or Gary for shooters and khris for playmaking) because Dame and Giannis can’t create literally everything in the game. Back when Dame was All-NBA first team with portland he usually had slow centers like brook lopez and then playmakers (McCollum) and shooters in Seth Curry, Rodney Hood, Gary Trent etc. Lineups like this also usually work for Giannis. The starting 5 should be Dame, Gary, Khris, Giannis, Brook, AJ and Bobby first off the bench.
Khris is not the best wing defender wtf. Also Ajax has the best defensive field goal percentage of all the starters so maybe do some research before you talk about his apparently non existent defense?
Idk why we’re talking about dame and turn overs. Most of those came when the game was already over. We couldn’t defend, it’s that simple. We got into the bonus early, Brunson did whatever he wanted with both AJ and Ajax on him, and then KAT might as well not have even seen Brook or Bobby there because he scored every time he put his head down.
The defense has always been the issue, not the offense. The offense is not creative and stagnant sure, that’s true, but that’s not the issue. The Knicks put mikal bridges on dame all night to hound him, and then we put AJ green on Brunson? Elite teams have a great defender who can spend 100% of their energy making it tough for the other guards and then come down and hit a 3 when called upon. We don’t have that. We don’t deny anything, we let them get pain penetration with no resistance, and Bobby is possibly the worst defender at his position in the league.
The khris stuff is all secondary. Move Bobby and Pat for some actual help, until then this is all moot. There’s no point analyzing it. It’s either move them for what this team needs or 1st round exit. Coaching isn’t gonna change it.
Giannis is very front on from the free throw line if u look at dame and other good ft shooters they move their feet to 45 degrees he should try a more side on approach
Is the team so deprived of wing defenders that Khris Middleton is their best one? Not saying that Khris is bad or anything, but I don’t ever remember him being elite.
Genuinely asking, only watched a few Bucks games this year.
if we really need to change the rotation drastically to win against big gun I think we need to trade Damian Lillard. With the assets Bucks have it is very difficult to get game changing players in.

The Middleton cap number would bring in depth. He’s not outplaying a frontline player. And for the +1 people he’s doing v the 2nd line.
