  1. Cavs fan here, watched the game and even up 30 points, Thibs played dudes 37 mins on the first game of a back to back. Thank you Thibs for being the one to defeat the New York Knicks in the Playoffs, by running them into the ground in the reg season.

    Go Cavs!

  2. KEY what Thibs said subtly— which is a message to Brunson and something I have been saying — many people have been saying for a long time. Brunson- when things aren't going right or when crunch time comes- he tends to fall into "hero ball" even if there are other options out there, even if Bridges is shooting well, or if it's crunch time- he knows he's one of the best clutch closers in the game. Let it go, and listen to the game.

Thibs is quietly saying that right there. Take what the game gives you. Don't force it. Don't force your way through blitzing etc…. This is hopefully something Brunson can learn. Today, I don't think he really learned it because he took over the game, I think the new Brunson is going to have to be the one that will take over a game with scoring, but if he can't- he will take teams apart with his passing. He's capable of that. He's done it before… Sometimes he leans too much toward scoring even when the game dictates otherwise.

  3. Hopefully we can still win today even though if Jalen Brunson doesn’t play. McBride and Payne in the PG position has got this.
