Hart overcommitted to the closeout. That wasn’t KAT’s rotation. He needed to be boxing for a potential miss. Should’ve been a stunt & recover from Hart. Honestly the Knicks should’ve pre-switched Brunson out of the action with OG at the very top of the set.
I hope the Knicks bounce back against the Sixers
Cunningham had 4 fouls I believe before the 2nd half then he came out shooting well to bring the Pistons back into the game. Idk why the Knicks didn’t continuously drive on him hoping to get him to pick up his 5th or foul out
Props to the Pistons for finally competing to win and I never thought I'd see them win against the Knicks twice in MSG

Whose fault is it everytime the knicks play lousy defense? Coach or players? Or both? Was made to believe thibs was a great defensive mind. They all dont have to be there at the same time, but i believe sims, hukporti, dadiet and toppin can play better defense than the starting clowns.

the knicks are not good enuff defensively yet. will they be at playoff time? don't know. remember they are down a couple of pieces they lost ihart mitch randle and divo. they added kat and bridges. is it enuff. they are vulnerable vs the young teams with fresh legs. the hawks,pistons ,bulls and thunder have beaten them twice. houston ,boston, cleveland too. they are the 4th or 5th best team in the league. they need mitch and more from deuce,bridges and og. still half a season to go.
I was concerned about this match-up, which SHOULD be crazy to say considering what has been invested in this knicks' team the past couple of years…..the pistons athleticism and J.B. Bickerstaff Proving that he's a Superior Head Coach compared to thibodeau.. once given a roster that reflects the personality and the style of play he wants in a team(cavs team mentally was too soft..)…..J.B. Bickstaff SCHOOLED and Coached Circles around Predictable thibodeau……..Maybe now more "fans" will FINALLY realize that thibodeau is not a Championship level Head Coach but just an Over-glorified Assistant Coach.
