D Live is just such a humble dude and is going to be a menace in this league for a longggg time. I just hope the Mavs organization can keep him and Luka, Ky, PJ…hold on to the core for as long as possible around Luka. Once Dereck starts stretching the floor more, hitting pull up jumpers, 3s and can keep the fouling under a little bit more control. That is when he is going to truly shine. This is only his 2nd year and he's playing like this and has that killer mentality already.
