    Rigged NBA Draft will give the Pelicans the number 1 pick for Cooper Flagg to compensate the Newish team owner when they ship Zion, who been a disappointment. Zion was originally their compensation for AD wanting out, and AD 2012 draft was the selling point the NBA gave the newish owner for buying the team.

    Zion activated his Ben Simmons-mode years ago. He's just more talented so it took a while to show. He found out, the worst guy in the NBA can still do a windmill dunk. This aint college. But good for him, he got the bag. He will get another one. Most people dont like their jobs, same applies to him too.

    Zion should experience being waved and then not being signed by any teams to make sure he realizes that now just because he getting big bucks he can just do whatever he wants. At this point he is becoming more of a nuisance that an asset to the Pelicans and to other teams that would want him on their roster

    People saying New Orleans is a bad place for him, just dont get it. Imagine Zion in Miami, New York, LA, Chicago, Toronto, ect….

    All cities with a major nightlife. His problems would be amplified, ten fold. This is a Zion issue, not an environmental issue.

    If Zion never wanted to go to New Orleans are are be there in the first place. Then why on Earth did he sign his max contract after his rookie deal. He could have been the first player in NBA history after a rookie deal force a trade or refuse to not sign the contract and become a free agent.

    Stop paying players for potential when they don't perform for your team. Teams get enamoured with potential too much that they are neglecting their history of injuries and attitude during their tenure within the league.

    That New Orleans culture makes you fat story is so stupid. Any city that can support an NBA franchise – and many many considerably smaller ones than that as well – has some form of party mile where you can get any combination of alcohol, drugs, any volume of food supporting any level of irresponsibly unhealthy diet ( not just but especially for a pro athlete).

    I really feel for you Pels fans. As a Spurs fan I feel so fortunate our franchise guy loves the game and is constantly working on his body and his game and can't imagine the disappointment you guys must feel getting a LeBron level talent who just refuses to take anything seriously for you. If I was Zion I would have thought New Orleans would be a dream destination. Not only an amazing city but you have a first rate front office that put elite supporting casts around him from Day 1. Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday, Lonzo Ball, Dejounte Murray, I mean I would kill to have supporting players like that to put around Wemby. And you are ridiculous in the draft getting guys like Trey Murphy III, Yves Missi, Dyson Daniels, and Herb Jones without having too high of picks. At this point it just feels like Zion is a storm cloud over the franchise. He never gave you guys a fair shake. He is who he is and people don't change. Best case scenario is he just hates you guys so much he's sabotaging you on purpose pulling a James Harden fat suit on you for six years now. Worst case is he doesn't give a damn period and would act the same in NYC too. Given how amazing the top of this draft looks I'm glad you guys are having the season from hell so that maybe it gets you Cooper Flagg or Dylan Harper or Tre Johnson or Kasparas Jakucionis or someone else really nice to build around. At this point though I'm cutting the cancer and letting Zion go be someone else's problem, and anything you get back in trade is just a nice bonus. The Pelicans are way too good of an organization to have Zion's childishness hanging over them every season.

    But zion has been and is a joke. He isnt a d rose who keeps getting unlucky with injuries but works hard to be back out on the floor and contribute. Hes proven he wont do the hard work to be to the level he needs to play at the freakin nba level.

    Ive been hearing about how hes generational yet he cant even get through a single season of nba ball.

    Youre not generational if you sit on the sidelines collecting checks your whole career. When zion is 34 i bet hes still never played even close to 1 full nba season of basketball.
