  1. Getting cooked by Jalen Green may be a good indication that we need to hold onto Marcus Smart

  2. Jenkins legitimately thinks Kennard and Laravia are better point guards than Pippen

  3. 4th quarter lineup at 7 min mark up 9 Laravia Wells Clarke Bane Kennard of course it's down to a 3 pt game in less than 45 seconds.

  4. Bane needs to get a tech every single game. Didn’t know he felt like that about Dillon Brooks, very personal

  5. Let’s be for real and tell it like is now. Jenkins got out coach by a lot let’s stop the sugar coating lol. The minute thing you said is definitely false. Go look at all the big games we had those team starters played well over 35 minutes so this has nothing to do with those injured players. And last Ja did not have a good game he played selfish and got caught in a one on one battle. Those 7 turnovers could have been 10+ let be for real now. And those shots he was taking was terrible and force during the game. The fact Jaren only took 12 shots and Bane 13 and they was shooting better says a lot about his 4 assist. If anyone notice when Ja is not playing pass first we struggle and he forcing things. But when he pass first and get his offense in the flow of the game he’s under control and we usually wins that game. Dude has to be a point guard and stop trying to score. I done said it for 4 years now play through Jaren because he’s the best player and he now have shown why when he get the shots.

  6. Hard fought game…but…we still turn the ball over way too much. And…why in the heck are we going over screens at half court? I was screaming at the tv right along with Brevin….Houston was just allowing us to fight over them and then playing 5 on 4 driving to the hoop. We never adjusted.

  7. I disagree with Damichaels take on Taylor's minute distribution. Yes, Taylor played them a little bit more, but it was the timing of those minutes. He took Ja and Jaren out with around 7 minutes to go with them up around 9. Play them the whole 4th quarter!

  8. Anyone still making excuses for Taylor Jenkins is a lost cause. Good Western teams outcoach him every time.

  9. The Grizzlies are just a mediocre team that’s had an easy schedule so far.

  10. Last night was a perfect storm:

    1) Untimely turnovers.
    2) Very unbalanced whistle. (Grizz getting called ticky tack fouls while Amen Thompson was free to maul Ja all game)
    3) Jenkins still can't coach in the clutch

    4) Jalen Green before last night:

    FG% – .420
    3PT% – .335
Dude is, and has been an inefficient loose cannon his whole NBA career. I don't think he shoots like last night the rest of the season

  11. It all comes back to the rotations. When Bane got hot in the 3rd quarter, he took Ja and Jaren out, which allowed the rockets to put Amen Thompson on Bane and trap him a couple times, and bane was shut out after that. Imo Ja should have played the whole 3rd with Bane, then make Scotty and Luke start off the 4th with Jaren. I think we'll be in bigger problems when GG and Vince come back because Jenkins will have more rotation problems. Which is why we need to make the roster a bit smaller imo. Trade 2 or 3 for a good 1. Also, i think Jay Huff should have been used. Clarke was -16 and played 25 mins. I know Huff isnt good defensively, but a stretch 5 gives way more options offensively and can spark runs. Rotations are going to be a problem for the entire season. I hope it doesnt roll over into the playoffs

  12. The front office is bullshitting so hard with this GG slow walk. Like we watched this man plan 40 games last year in the nba he doesn’t need to go play in the damn G league WTF kleinman

  13. The grizzlies are almost never the benefactors of refs. The never come out as the team that refs kinda hooked up. It’s the opposite and I don’t understand that.

  14. We love your insights and optimism, Damichael (even though you're paid to be optimistic, of course). Yet, I can't help wondering if Jenkins, great a coach as he is, is capable of making the right decisions and the necessary adjustments in the clutch now and in the playoffs later, given that he's been outsmarted by higher-level coaches numerous times this season despite the new offense and availability of the core players.

  15. I was happy that Jenkins played the starters more. It’s madness to not play your starters beyond 30 minutes in tight games. EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE NBA HAS NO ISSUES WITH RUNNING THEIR STARTERS 40 plus.

That being said, Jenkins played the starters a little longer and I’m happy with that.

I think refs are so home team biased, providing those explosions of positive brain chemicals to the fans. It keeps them coming back. It’s also hurting the nba. I know so many people that stop watching because of nba refs frustrating them so much. I took a month off, I was sick of the frustration. So many games now are decided by refs. We almost lost to Minnesota because of an obvious no call that did show up in the two minute report. The nba needs to audit every single game. We are talking a multi billion dollar enterprise, they can’t afford 50 ex refs to turn the two minute report into the 48 minute report?

  16. Now I'm not gonna hold yall. Yall lost this game but the rockets also won this game. Majority of the first 3 quarters yall were hitting last second last option shots. Aldama hit 2 Last second shots, in transition Ja hit this wild layup attempt nothing but net. And Ja hit that half court 3 those are all shots that if they don't go down yall are in a much tougher position. Apart from the Ja 3, In the 4th those shots literally never went in. And our defense persevered 33 points in the 4th and held yall to 42% in the 4th

  17. The rotations just didn’t make sense. They made Bane the only ball handler way too many times. They took out every offensive option except for him in the 4th. He didn’t play Kennard with Ja for some reason. Would’ve made more sense if Ja was on the court with Kennard more because he would’ve had better looks. I love that LaRavia is embracing being a role player but I would like him to be more confident is his shooting because he would have some open looks but would look to give the ball up. He’s shooting 40% from 3 this season. There’s not reason he shouldn’t be taking those 3s.

  19. The whistle was crazy. They would go up for the stupidest posters and would get rewarded for it. They would just throw the ball at the backboard.

  20. Im a rockets fan and i understand why the Grizzlies players aren’t worried.

Im excited about us but regular season wins don’t mean anything if we met in a series. We haven’t even got there yet to worry about lol.

Now I hope it bite yall in the ass but you should feel confident.

  21. @16:00 do your research before you point something out. Rockets are a deeper team the Grizzlies. Ime just runs a tight rotation. Cam is better than anybody off your bench and Houston had him in the gleague when everybody was healthy. JaeSean Tate is good enough to be in the rotation of most teams and he’s just a stay ready player for Houston. Boston and Dallas made trade offers for him at the deadline last year. Just because you throw a lot of body out their don’t mean you’re a deep team. Stop making excuses for your coach and be objective. Huff is one of your better bench players and he came from the rockets system.
