These are NOT the Same Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are back and again fighting for a playoff spot a year after their worst season in franchise history. Cade Cunningham has become an All Star maybe even All-NBA caliber player, shooters like Malik Beasley, Tobias Harris, and Tim Hardaway Jr have been huge, Jaden Ivey has taken a leap, Jalen Duren has shown flashes, and they are firmly in position to contend for a top six seed in the Eastern Conference. They’re way better than I was expecting and it’s awesome to see. Let’s talk about it.

  1. People who are thinking that were all bandwagons for appreciating the pistons, no Cade is a legit mvp candidate they will avoid the play in, Cade just had a game where he left the entire first half with only 7 points on 4 fouls, he ended WITH 36 HOLY CRAP, Cade is going to be all nba, him and Pablo will run the east give it 2 seasons for the gems to build their rosters

  2. Finally someone who actually watches the games! 🙏
I swear Tobias has exposed all these fakes 😂 Anyone who says he's been awesome has not watched this season. Hes been good in 2025 at least. Coach made an effort to get him the ball early

  3. Reminder that espn ranked Dereck Lively above Cade coming into this season…. 😭

  4. I'm glad this season is going well for them.
Last season they lost games they should have won.
They weren't a bad team at all.

  5. On the same day as Synthetic sports lol. Like the third time you’ve posted the same video as them within 24 hours of them posting.

  6. If Cade can average 30 points, and pistons end up 3rd in ECF, I would srsly consider him for MVP

  7. Even when they were losing last year, i still had faith in cade . It was clear he is passionate about the game and it brings me joy watching detroit thrive and cade getting the recognition he deserves. Love from gsw fan

  8. As a native Michigander, I am ecstatic about this team. The fact that the Lions and Pistons are both becoming good again is just amazing. I'm happy for Detroit.

  9. JB Bickerstaff in Detroit and Ime Udoka in Houston are the prime examples of how coaches play a serious role in attitude and culture development.

  10. I disagree that the Pistons should make huge moves now. They should be striving to be more than just good enough to reach the postseason andmost likely be an early exit. Ingram would not shift the tide for them that much. They should keep pushing forward with the young core while making minor additions and subtractions and make the big move(s) when the time is right. What would make their season better is much better play from Tobias Harris.

  11. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Weaver and Monty held this team back. This is where we could’ve/should’ve been last year. The fact that Ivey was benched for Hayes when everyone here watching knew he was destined for the g league is astonishing. The fact that we brought back Knox, kept forcing livers to be our spot up shooter and told stew to shoot top of the key threes was also crazy.

  12. The Pistons are surging and it’s about damn time! Seriously, the addition of vets like Malik Beasley, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Tobias Harris as well as the emergence of Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey (before he got hurt) this season has had a tremendous impact on this team. They are not the bottom-feeder of a team that we saw last season. I’m excited to see what they do in the second half of the season and they are right in the playoff mix. The sky is the limit for this team and the only direction they can go is up. Go Pistons!

  13. I think he hogs the ball, & he turns the ball over too much & Ima Piston fan. Beasley has made the biggest difference to me. 😊
