Boston Celtics’ offensive struggles: What’s the real issue?
Are the Boston Celtics’ offensive struggles a sign of deeper issues, or just a temporary setback? With star players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown trying to do more, the Celtics are navigating a shift from three-pointers to two-pointers, impacting their performance.

They explore the need for improved shot selection and discuss how players like Derrick White and Payton Pritchard are adapting to these changes. The conversation also touches on the strategic adjustments necessary for the Celtics to regain their early-season form.

Greetings from Brazil! 🇧🇷 ☘️
Ayyyy thanks John for another one
Always a pleasure!
"Guess what! I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more threes!"🐮🔔
"The Celtics are taking 94 percent of their shots" AMAZING line haha
3=1.5 *2 50% more
Hard to beat that
And better reviund opportunities
Also think if they played even mediocre defense on bad 3pt shooters in the beginning of the game it would help
They make too much of a commitment to leave them wide open – any nba player can make uncontested shots if they know it’s gonna happen
The opponent know they will shoot more 3 thats why they depended it more than their inside game😊
Floaters and Mid-Range are Illegal now!?
Would you say their ceiling is lower than last year?
The third highest scorer in the past month isn’t the problem. White and Pritchard lacking is the real problem.
As usual, this is solid analysis by Karalis (above average) and T Dubs.
One thing to consider- how much has the style of defense played against the C's caused these changes in the offense? Teams are clearly playing them differently. And its more than just running them off the 3 pt line. The Memphis game brought this to light for me.
I think our offense is the big issue right now, get our offense back to where it was in November and playing defense will become easier
All the things you are saying about how the Celtics are shooting twos more and less threes and attacking is a great example of how most don't watch the games and go by highlights, and the box score.
Yall aren't ever happy 😂😂😂 everyone says they shoot too many threes so now they're attacking the basket and now thats a problem! What is y'all problems?
