Thunder Dominate Wizards Behind Team Effort + Big Takeaways from OKC’s Recent Games

The OKC Thunder cruised to a commanding victory over the Washington Wizards, 136-95, showcasing their depth and resilience. Despite an inefficient scoring night from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Aaron Wiggins stepped up in a big way, providing much-needed scoring and energy. Cason Wallace delivered another impressive two-way performance, while Jalen Williams struggled to find his rhythm from deep.

We also reflect on the Thunder’s recent stretch, including a thrilling win over the New York Knicks and a hard-fought loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Then, it’s time for some Prairie Trivia presented by Prairie Artisan Ales, where things get competitive, before we look ahead to the challenging upcoming schedule and make some bold predictions.

  1. When you watch Washington play you wonder how bad the other team had to have played for them to beat anyone. If all their players were free for the taking no one would take 1 of them. My Lord they been bad since the won the title in was it 1977. So almost 40 straight years of have zero chance of winning anything. And in most of those years were straight up horrible. It seems impossible to be that bad that long.

  2. Last game of the trip is a trap game. Philly can be great if you let them. It will be shocking if Embiid actually plays a game. But if he does, they can be scary.

  3. Last 15 games they are scoring more but shooting less low percentage shots which is the 3. Even when you are good you miss 60% of them. I willing to bet they are shooting higher from 2. And because of it are shooting more FTs making those 2s worth 3. Again, people never factor in the FT on a two. You pretty much never get fouled on a 3. But you will get fouled taking a good 2. Fouls make team play looser defense because of foul trouble. Maing scoring twos even easier. Again, number nerds don't factor that in. They only see 3 is a bigger number than 2. Which is true but 3 is actually smaller when you factor in the foul causing NBA player to play enough less defense which is scary I know and the FT.
