Good game defensively by Wemby overall, but i’s really sad that the coaching staff does not help him develop in the paint to make easy baskets from there. He accumulates games with 0 or almost 0 offensive rebound. That speaks volumes on what the coaches are doing with Victor. Almost no offensive presence in the paint for a 7'5 is stupid coaching, as stupid as stupid can get. It's getting close to knowingly diminishing his potential and this is unacceptable. It’s one of the main reasons why the Spurs lost this game, and many others. Count the number of additionnal points the team would have had with 5 baskets from Wemby in the paint instead of missed shots from the 3 pt line, and then do the same calculation every single game. Horrible coaching that not only slows down Vic’s development considerably as a young big man, but also hurts the team collectively.
Wemby is definitely 1 or 2 inches taller than Eddy.
00:30 thats not a block..WEMBY doesnt even touch the ball..a couple of games ago he had also 3 blocks that were fouls…NBA just rigging his blocks to make him look good..

A lot of experts in here.. Wemby clearly has a lot to learn from Youtube comments advice.. Everyone seems to have forgotten how Spurs did last year.
This dude is the future of the NBA, if San Antonio can put a scoring 2-3 guy next to him, they are going to be really exciting to watch.

I mean… you blocked everyone on the team 8 times including Zack Eddie in the first half… someone’s bound to get a dunk on you at some point. Great athleticism Ja Morant. That was an almost spectacular dunk. His arms are so short and he jumped so high that he literally had to throw it down into the basket not grabbing it. That’s actually amazing. 🤩
Do you guys realize averaging 4 blocks in 2025 in the 3pt era is the equivalent of blocking like 7 shots in 1995?
